Main Image

The main image is Ed Sheeran holding an acoustic guitar. This links in with the acoustic based genre songs.

Model credit

The model credit is ‘Ed Sheeran An everyday tale of one man, his guitar and global superstardom.’ This is also links in with the acoustic genre as it mentions his guitar.

Main Cover Line

The main cover line is “Neil Young Exclusive! On family, CSNY & the future.” This links in with the magazine as Niel Young was also a folk artist, as well as Ed Sheeran.

Colours/Typefaces/House style

The house style is having the cover lines surrounding the main image but having the model credit over the image itself. Doing this with the main cover line clearly shows who the image of the solo artist is. The colours are mainly red and white and the type is bold and clear. However the main model credit looks like it may have been hand written.

Masthead

The mast head is ‘Q’ This is a music magazine which focuses on a wide range of genres such as deep house, pop, rock and many more. This is why Ed Sheeran is a good artist to use as he is a pop artist himself.
