RTS is a strictly Hip Hop band that intends to blow away fans with their lyrics and songs. With their new debut album, “Relentless” it would seem that they are determined to show the world their music.

Whether it’s rapping professionally or just spitting bars with mates, RTS know how to rap. The band (Chadney, Paul, Chris, Anthony and Solomon) are aiming to go beyond what they thought possible. “Day to day life becomes part of a chore eventually, we wanted to make a change so we can transform our lives”, commented Chadney.

The group have been together for an interesting number of years and they have been good friends since secondary school which helps them work together as a team.

The group do also have a lot of hobbies which include playing basketball, chilling out, and for Chris beat boxing. He said “I still need to chill out and take a break sometimes. My band loves to have a laugh and muck about just like normal people would and it helps keep us tight and in sync with each other. Although, if there is work to be done then we chip in and get it done” The group play the key musical instruments needed to make a band successful like the guitar, bass and drums. And they love to play around and think of new background tunes; a probable reason why they’re doing so well! It is highly apparent that at the rate they are going they may well be the next music group to hit the charts.

With rapping for a number of years they wanted to broaden their horizons so they recruited Emily Chang, a dedicated RnB singer and a part time member of the band. It would seem that to change their songs from straight rap to a mixture of RnB would be hard work but it seems to have paid off as their previous album “Ruthless” was selling extremely well

RETAKING THE STREETS “I’m glad I joined the RTS music band since it seemed like a great way to work hard at something other than academic achievement. I’ve made great friends and after making the songs I feel that it’s all paid off now its been published!” said Emily.

When I listened to their new tracks I certainly felt that the album would be a huge hit. The depth and passion within them seemed to burst out with the songs and the music is all in perfect harmony with the tunes.

Anthony, leader of the band, commented “Before it was just plain rapping, through and through but with the new album we decided to broaden our horizons and bring in some RnB and softer tunes. There’s nothing wrong with hip hop but we’re continually experimenting with different types of music; anything to make our songs have more of a blaze.”

Their new album “Relentless” will be out within the next few months and they urge fans to buy it! “The music is sure to be a hit and we promise that our next album will be even better than ever before!” Paul exclaimed.

I asked the guys where the name RTS came from. Solomon replied, “Well, basically after thinking a long time and going through a list of random names we decided to choose a name which would be parallel to our goals. We want to show the world what we’re all about and that we are not just a music band, but a group willing to sing their hearts and souls out.”

Considering their achievements RTS could well be international stars within the next year, “In the future I hope that the band will indeed become an even greater group. The album “Ruthless” was a test run and since it was a good hit I’d label it a success! Although the ferocity of the number of albums sold shocked me I really wouldn’t have thought it would have fared so well!!”
