>>The Showfield
>>Many of you will have seen or heard that part of the former showfield has been sold to Frome Town Council, this does not in any way effect the Cricket Club, and hopefully it will mean that between all interested parties on the former showfield
we can create a vibrant leisure area for the town which can only benefit FCC.

>>Primary Partner of Frome Cricket Club:
>>Square Renovation
>>On the field, the autumn renovations
have been successful and a good healthy
growth of new grass is looking spectacular
on the square. You may have noticed that
the old boundary boards have been
removed by Enos way, they were
becoming dangerous to the public as they
became rotten, please put your thinking
caps on as to how we can prevent the ball
from disappearing away from Fromefield!
>> Frome Cricket Club
Annual General Meeting
>>Sunday 9th November saw the
AGM of FCC take place at the
clubhouse, Along with the official
business taking place with most of
the standing committee being re-
elected to their posts, Linda Watts
and Brian Woodruff stood down
from their respective duties and the
committee would like to thank
them for their work. We have
appointed a new child welfare
officer but are seeking a new Youth
Co-ordinator to continue the work
and drive the youth section at FCC.
A good discussion was had by all
regarding the youth and we look
forward to growing this important
part of the club.
>>Trophy Collection (WEPL and Somerset League)
>>November meant a trip to Bristol to collect the West of England Premier League
Somerset Division Trophy for the 1st XI, David Dredge collected the award of
player of the division aswell. The guest speaker was Robert Croft.
Also the 2nd XI were awarded the runners up shield from the Somerset Cricket
League to round off what was a successful season for Frome CC.
