STRIVING FOR PERFECTIONWe sought to optimize production in a consistent, effective, sustainable way. ISO 14001 certification confirms that our management system assesses the environmental impact of our operations.
EXPLORING NEW HORIZONSWe launched the production of flat pack furniture to serve an international clientele.
FORESEEING AN EVOLUTIONWe extended the wrapped profiles concept to other elements: we started to manufacture completely wrapped and postformed components to meet the needs of our new foreign clientele.
STARTING OUT WITH ENTHUSIASMMedia Profili, a company that initially manufactured profiles wrapped with polyimeric foils, was founded in Brugnera by the Pasquali family, who still own the company today.
KEEPING A COMMITMENTAchieving PEFC certification confirmed our commitment to the environment through compliance with internationally recognized forestry good practice standards.
STRIVING FOR EXCELLENCEWe increased our production capacity for paper and polymeric foils components. A significant amount of the raw materials used were FSC certified. Manufacturing doors and components postformed and wrapped with high gloss foils became our company’s core business.
TURNING A VISION INTO A REALITYOur concern for and responsible attitude towards environmental resources and future generations led us to install our first photovoltaic system.
DEVELOPING NEW IDEASDuring this period, we invested heavily in research and development, focusing on raw materials (foils and glues in particular) and technology (panels preparation and foils application). The excellent results that we achieved in terms of the quality of the products and the processes enabled us to take a prominent position in the market.
FOLLOWING OUR INTUITIONWe moved to Mansuè, to a large site with plenty of potential for growth.
PURSUING EFFICIENCY AND EFFICACYWe obtained ISO 9001 certification to assure our customers that the quality of our goods and services will be maintained and improved over time, in compliance with international standards.

To ensure high standards of health, safety, environmental protection
and quality, our management system conforms to U N I E N I S O 9 001 ,
U N I E N I S O 14 001 , F S C and P E F C standards.
Our research and development activities, focusing on materials
and innovative solutions, are conducted in a manner that
protects both the environment and the health of our employees.
WE HAVE CHOSEN TO DEVELOP ENVIRONMENTALLY SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTS THAT
ARE SAFE TO PRODUCE AND USE.
OVER THE YEARS, OUR COMMITMENT TO PROTECT
THE ENVIRONMENT HAS STEADILY INCREASED.
Our commitment to sustainability is implemented through the management of specific measures and projects aimed at reducing environmental impacts. Each year, we invest a portion of our revenues into improving energy efficiency and reducing carbon dioxide emissions (CO2).
• we have continually increased the use of FSC materials, which now represent 60% of all materials;
• we have increased the use of materials that comply with the CARB regulation, which now represent 60% of the total;
• we use recycled panels to reduce waste volumes and greenhouse gas emissions, thereby contributing to protecting forest resources;
• we have considerably reduced the use of difficult-to-recycle packaging materials like EPS, replacing them with easier-to-dispose-of materials like cardboard;
• we have reduced the use of wooden pallets by replacing them with cardboard solutions, thereby limiting the environmental impact and decreasing costs associated with managing and transporting merchandise.
M O N I T O R I N G C O N S U M P T I O N
Looking to the future, we have identified actions to reduce energy consumption over the next few years:
• we installed motion detectors to control lighting;
• we use energy generated from renewable sources by replacing existing servers with ones that waste less energy (or through virtualization);
• we have reduced consumption by 50%.
We adop t me asur es to impr ove ef ficienc yin the us e of r es our ces and ener gy,decr e as e envir onment al impac tand r educe management cos t s .
Applying an environmentally sustainable approach to selecting
raw materials and energy use throughout the entire production
chain ensures the eco-efficiency of processes, thereby reducing
the costs associated with materials, energy,
atmospheric emissions and waste disposal.

An analysis of our energy consumption revealed the changes required:
• replacing fluorescent lights with LED lights;
• expanded the monitoring system for the production lines;
• eliminated leaks in the compressed air distribution network;
• improved the combustion process in the boilers;
• improve waste management in order to minimize the amount of waste sent to landfills.

All of our workers are asked to play an active role, adopting prevention measures to protect themselves and their colleagues and reporting hazardous situations.
Thanks to continuous awareness and prevention initiatives, the number of occupational accidents has decreased by 50% during the last two years. We will not be satisfied until we have reached our goal of zero accidents during production activities.
