Dear Members,Greetings and Good wishes for a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

I am happy to inform that Wi-fi facility will soon be available to the members in the Club.

Ladies Sub-Committee has been prolific with variety of programmes. Diwali Super Bumper Tambola spon-sored by Singapore Airlines brought in an altogether a different flavor, Kudos! to Mrs.Sonia Gupta and herteam which worked tirelessly to make this event a great Hit. Despite the fact that communities countrywidehave different way of celebrating Deepavali, a uniting factor for all of us is that apart from frenzy firecrackers, members and their families came together in large number and enjoyed the event thoroughly.

Bar Committee Chairman Sudhir ensured that not a month goes by without judicious mix of innovative promotional schemes. It isheartening to note that Johnnie Walker Nite brought in lot of cheers and has become much sought after and it was a hugesuccess. I hope this trend will continue in coming months.

Catering Committee Chairman Ranganadh and his team ensured a wider range of menu but kept the prices stable inspite of hikein prices of all food items. Our club has participated in a Cricket Tournament enthusiastically and I am sure Sports Sub-Committee Chairman Balasatish would continue to provide members the required ambience for continuing with our clubactivities.

It would not be out of place to Compliment General Services Chairman V.K.Viswesware Rao for having restored the pristineenvirons of the Club to its full glory. Entertainment Committee with varied programmes kept us busy. Nikhil Oza and his team havemany events in store in December, Ghazal Nite, Christmas Eve and, of course, New Year Nite promises to be the best. Library andChambers Chairman Thimmayya Gandhi always makes sure that chambers rooms and service are upto the satisfaction of guestsand by adding several books in the Library month after month.

Have a cheerful month ahead!!!Yours-in-service

The eventkicked off with a traditional lamplighting by the President and his teamand followed up with a main stageperformance of the well knownTapedugulla folk dance team lead byDagula Trinadh. More than 35 stallsdoling out different items from knickknacks, to life style products and ethnic food attracted the compulsiveshoppers. Children reveled in the bouncies and merry go round at theentry and enjoyed posing with theDisney dolls and other characters.Food was excellent with a specialKebab stall by QD-a new joint in thecity serving authentic tangi kebabs, tundi kebabs and burgers. Unlimitedfree service of cotton candy andpopcorn was a big hit while thePubjabi kulfi and ice gola stall drew large crowds. The mehendi ladieswere busy till late hours adorning the hands of the ladies. The childrensspecial games stalls were crowded as they did brisk business. But thehighlight of the event was the spectacular aerial firework show arranged fromAnakapalle which was synchronized and aesthetic to the eye.

It was like the "good old days" as families clutched together with thei eyesfixed onto the dark sky and the appreciation of the show was written allover their faces. A great effort by the Entertainment Committee with thesupport of the Ladies Committee and good arrangements by Razzmatazzand excellent authentic theme décor by Rahul Ganapati pulled off amemorable event.
