Keep an eye out for the TBA date in the annual disclosures that will be mailed to all owners by the end of the year. The election of two board members will take place. If you would like to run for the board, please let the oce know and send in a candidate statement, photo and resume. Upon receipt, please read all the annual meeting materials and fill out your ballots to ensure quorum. Garden Construction: The Campbell Garden makeover ocially began Monday, November 30. Improvements include total concrete replacement, an irrigation system and drought tolerant plants! The Garden Gate and the Campbell side door will be closed for two weeks and trash dumpsters will be located in the alley in the back with locks. During this time, Campbell residents with bicycles will be allowed through the lobby. Solarium Rules: New solarium rules have been mailed to homeowners and will take eect this month. The latest events can last is 10pm with an additional hour for cleaning (with the exception of New Year’s Eve) and homeowners must be present during the entire duration of the event. If the event is shut down due to noise or other oensive activities the deposit will be kept. District Wine Parklet: You may have noticed the new construction in front of District Wine. It is a parklet, a City approved sidewalk extension, that adds outdoor seating to the wine bar. Two parking spaces have been taken over but two spaces will be added and re-striped as well to create a net zero eect on parking. With the upcoming opening of cafe/wine bar Linden Public (the former Green House cafe) at the Broadlind and their own planned parklet, the corner of Broadway and Linden will be much livelier for residents! Wabi-Sabi Market: Mark Dana, the owner of the planned market at 146 Linden Avenue, received final approval of the Conditional Use Permit for the space and will hopefully begin construction soon. It will feature gourmet food items, take-away hot food and beer & wine for purchase onsite as well as home delivery. St. Nick’s: The ballroom located at 528 E. Broadway has a new tenant. Nick Adams and his lighting and decorating company, St. Nick’s, is using the former Embassy Room (a.k.a. Dome Room) and adjacent kitchen. So when you go to the gym and see a lot of activity down the hall, you’ll know why! Holiday Party: The annual holiday party is scheduled for Thursday, December 17 from 6-9pm in the Main Lobby. The event is FREE to all homeowners and residents. Come by the decorated lobby to meet your neighbors, enjoy live entertainment and partake of some free food and drinks. If you would like to bring some food or drink to share with your neighbors, just bring it to the party! The Lafayette will supply all plates, utensils and napkins. See you there.
