Of the 600,000-800,000 people trafficked across international borders annually, 79% are female.
2/3 of the 880 million illiterate adults are women.

Uplifted Life providing young mothers with
education and training to start small
businesses.
SI/Japan Regions: Kizuna project providing
scholarships to girls who lost their parents in
devastating disasters.
