Health Intelligence is more than applying data and information to a problem, in order to come up with a new strategy, program or whatever. Health Intelligence is the “added value” which results from the pooling of skills and the creative thinking of a diverse group who are interested in a common area. Health Intelligence is not an end in itself, but a means whereby the group can plan and carry out activities, which will ultimately improve the health and well being of individuals.
