“ATL FOUNDER’S DAY”
Date & Venue:
An orientation program was conducted by a nonprofit organization, BEHES in school auditorium,
on1st August‟2018 for students of class VII to IX.
Demonstrator & Presenter:

Agenda:
To inculcate creativity amongst students.
To educate the students about the program and get students attracted.
To enable pupil about the various elements of debate.
To develop literary skills amongst scholars.
Highlights
Started an interactive session with warm introduction of BEHES-A nonprofit organization.
Students were told about the curriculum and various rounds of BEHES tournament.
Outcome:
In the end of the workshop Students of standard VII to XII were motivated to participate in
debate and in various tournaments.

Participants : Students from Grade I to XII of different schools participated in this fest.

Highlights:
The students were very enthusiastic and excited to perform and were waiting anxiously for their turn. It was a visual delight looking at the students as they were dressed stunningly.
It was learning and an enjoyable experience indeed to see students participating enthusiastically.
Our school participated in 15 events out of 18. Analysis:
All the performances were indeed very attractive and captivating.

“Literature is the art of discovering something extraordinary about ordinary people.”
Presenter : An Annual Literary fest was organized by Adharsheela Global school.
Participants: Students from Grade I to XII of more than 26 different schools participated in this
fest.
Agenda:
The Literary Fest is a platform where one works at spreading the love for reading through
various programs which encourage children & their parents toward literature.
The purpose of these fests is to enhance budding literary talent among the students.
Studying literature involves reading, discussing, thinking and helping students to improve in
these areas.
Highlights:
The students were very enthusiastic and excited to perform and were waiting anxiously for their turn.
It was a visual delight looking at the students, as they were dressed gorgeously.
It was learning and an enjoyable experience indeed to see students participating actively.
Analysis:
All the performances were indeed very talented and captivating.
It was incredible to see the conviction of the young students and their sparks of talent.
FRIENDSHIP DAY CELEBRATION

Highlights of the event
Through an activity, the concept of Friendship was inculcated. Students were very excited
and thrilled to start up with the activity. All the students showed active participation in it.
Students were trying their best to make cards for their friends. Students showed eternal love
for their friends by tying friendship bands and hugging each other with true hearts.
Analysis
Students were able to gather a great amount of knowledge about the concept, meaning and
importance of Friendship in their day to day lives. They were not only able to understand the
concept but also implicated it practically in their daily routine. This was achieved because
children enjoyed and understood it with great enthusiasm and interest.
INTER HOUSE HOCKEY COMPETITION
Inter House Hockey Competition was organized on 03.08.2018 in the premises of Vidya Bharati School in
which all students performed very admirably and with the true team spirit. More than 60 students
participated in Hockey Competition which was divided into two categories namely Junior & Senior (IV to XI).
Both boys & girls participated very enthusiastically.

WORKSHOP ON “SCIENCE PROJECT EXHIBITION”
Date & Venue:
Students of Vidya Bharati School participated in Innovative Science Project Exhibition in DPSG, Meerut
Road, Ghaziabad on 4th August‟2018.
Agenda:
To inculcate creativity amongst students.
To do a lot of constructive and tinkering activities.
To develop scientific aptitude amongst students.
Highlights
Students of various schools from Ghaziabad participated, around 400 models were
demonstrated.
3 panels of judges adjudicated the models.
Two models from our school were presented, one in the category of VII-VIII and other in IX-
X. One was generation of electricity from waste water and the other was generation of
electricity by magnets.
Students described about the procedure and importance of patenting.
Outcome:
In the end of the workshop, Students were motivated to do a lot of constructive, tinkering and
creative activities and make something innovative which will benefit the society.
CLUB : MASTER CHEF

Activity: Cooking without fire : PapriChaat, BhelPuri
and Sandwich
Date: 4.8.18
Objectives:
The main motive of this activity is to encourage kids to eat real, healthyand nutritious food.
To teach students how they can prepare a snack without fire and help their mothers at the time of need.
To inculcate the value of collective participation among students.
Participants : Students of Grade VI
Highlights: An activity of making various food items such as Papri Chaat, Sandwiches,
Bhelpuri and Lemonade was done by the students of grade VI-A, B&C. Demonstrator explained
the nutrition value of the ingredients used in the food items. Tips related to cleanliness and hygiene
were also given to the students. They were told to wear apron, gloves and to cover their heads
while preparing the food.
Outcome:
Children were very much enthusiastic as they were having fun making it and then decorating the
same. They learnt the joy of working in teams and used their imagination while decorating the
same. They also learnt to keep cleanliness as they cleaned all the tables after making the various
food items. They took an hour for the completion of the activity. The students had a lot of fun
sharing with their friends thoroughly and took pleasure in the activity.
CLUB : WEAVE A STORY
Creative writing is a vita way of expressing oneself. Imagination and creative writing encourages
children to exercise their creative minds and practice using their imagination.
Date and venue Weave a Story Club was held in Grade V at Vidya Bharati School, Surya Nagar Ghaziabad, on 4th August, 18.
Objectives
To give much needed exposure to the learners.
To apply the learning in day to day life.
To inculcate imagination skills in learners.
To develop the ability to think in more creative and innovative manner.
To enhance their vocabulary skills.
Highlights
All the students participated enthusiastically in the activity.
They were eager to share their story by dramatization.
Each and everyone gave their best while presenting the story.
Students also penned down their thoughts on sheet to improve their writing skills.
Analysis
100% active participation was there in the activity.
Students were found eager to express their stories in creative manner.
Students tried using new words while presenting the story.
CLUB : FRENCH LANGUAGE

on the same was discussed with them
OBJECTIVE :How to understand the Comprehension in French language, students got to
know about the new vocabulary related to the garments/clothing.

OUTCOME : It was a learning experience indeed to see students understanding well and

CLUB : PAPER AND SCISSORS ACTIVITY
Date and venue
The paper and scissors activity was organized on 04.08.2018 in Class V.
Agenda 1. To improve their imagination 2. To improve their fine motor skills 3. To develop their eye and hand coordination
Highlights All the students participated enthusiastically and made beautiful cards, rakhis and paper bags.
Analysis Students enjoyed a lot while doing the activity. They learned the use of paper and scissors in creative manner.
CLUB : DANCE
Date & Venue – 4th August 2018 at Grade IV classrooms
Dance club was conducted for the students of grade IV.
Agenda
Coordination of steps was taught.
Bhangra Dance Form was taught.
To develop fine motor skills.
To develop competitive spirit among the students.
Highlights
All the students were excited for the Dance club.
The students were able to showcase their creativity with different dance steps.
Analysis
The students participated enthusiastically.
They tried to create magic in their dance using different steps and props.
It was a memorable experience indeed to see students participating actively and performing
well and learning new and new steps.
CELEBRATING WOMANHOOD
“The idea of perfect Womanhood is perfect Independence.” With this thought Vidya Bharati School
organized a gala event for ladies on 11th August 2018 to celebrate Womanhood.
Mrs. Yesha Bothra (Ex-President Marwari Yuva Shakti) was the Chief Guest at the event which
was also graced by the presence of Mrs. Parveen Alam, Mrs. Karuna Sharma and Dr. Manjusha
Joshi (Principal, VBS).
Mrs. Yesha Bothra, Mrs. Nishi Sharma (Ex-General Secretary), Mrs. Meena Maheshwari (Ex-
councilor, Surya Nagar), Mrs. Kaushalya Aggarwal (Social Activist), Mrs. Poonam Sharma and
Anupama Srivastava (Social Activist) inaugurated the celebration bylighting the auspicious
lamp.This was followed by a wonderful rendition of the welcome song, performed by the school
music team and teachers. A spectacular fashion show was put on display, followed by fun activities
like tambola, kids show, chocolate distribution and beautiful dance performances by ladies and
kids. The game of Shabdakshari was also played.
The event was concluded with a prize distribution ceremony and a scintillating DJ performance.
The people present had a huge fare of snacks and food items to enjoy, which they did to the fullest.
The ladies had a lot of fun taking their pictures in the „Selfie Corner‟. The main attractions of the
event were the swings.
The event turned out to be a huge success. Everyone present had great fun and at the same time
celebrated the idea of WOMANHOOD, underlining the undisputed importance of Women in the
society.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2018-19
“If your action inspires others to dream more, lean more, do more and become more, then you are
a leader”
Vidya Bharati School conducted Investiture ceremony of the session with great enthusiasm on 14th
August, 2018. It was the occasion where the young students were all prepared to don the mantle of
leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted to them by the school to inculcate the
leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of being important and integral part of the
administrative body.
The ceremony was attended by the chief trustee of the school Dr. C.R. Bhansali, Vice-President
Mr. S. N. Bothra along with Mrs. Bothra (Society Member), General Secretary Dr. Alam Ali Sisodia
, Working President Mr. Lalit Garg, General Manager Advocate Narendra Singh ,Station Head of
Surya Nagar Mr. Suresh Kumar and Principal of School Dr. Manjusha Joshi.
The ceremony began with the floral welcome of our esteemed guests by the Principal and this was
followed by plethora of activities like Shiv stuti, Rhythmic Yoga and various performances by
school choir.
Badges were pinned by the eminent guests and the Principal and they congratulated the newly
elected council members to take up the responsibilities entrusted to them.
Newly elected School Director Miss Ayushi proposed the vote of thanks and the programme
concluded with School Anthem.
INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
We at VBS celebrated 72 Independence day with zeal, fervor and enthusiasm on 15th August
2018.The General sectary of the school Dr. Alam Ali Sisodia, General Manager Advocate Narendra
Singh along with Principal Dr Manjusha Joshi hoisted the Flag in VBS premises followed by the
national anthem which echoed in the entire VBS campus. The staff made this moment a
memorable one by exhibiting their love for the mother country by singing various patriotic songs
with great energy and enthusiasm.
General Secretary delivered speech reminding of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and
motivated the staff to inculcate the values in our tiny tots to groom them into a global citizens so
that they can live in peace and harmony.
HOCKEY TOURNAMENT
VBS Hockey Team (boys)is emerging as a leader in Ghaziabad. It added another feather to its cap
by attaining III position in a tournament held at Mahamaya Stadium of 15th August 2018. With this
the boys had made the Independence Day extremely special for the school.
A total of eight strong teams of Ghaziabad participates VBS players displayed their stupendous
skills in the matches. In Round I & II the team faced tough competition from Shambhu Dayal Inter
College but it never lost its control and rhythm and ended up with a draw the match score of 0-0.
VBS team never shown any signs of loss of concentration and gave tough fight to Gurukul The
School with the same zeal, team work and determination. Finally, it lost to a tough team but
secured III position and made the school proud.
The team has displayed tremendous improvement in a short period of time. We hope, if it continue
to grow like this in no time it will leader in the district.
ANNUAL PAINTING COMPETITION
Expressions 2018, 23rd Annual Painting Competition at ASSISA Convent School, Noida organized
an „Inter School Painting Competition‟ in its premises on 5th August 2018. Around 2000 students
from various schools of Delhi – NCR participated in the competition. There were seven categories
in it.
The result was declared on 15th August 2018 in which Dikshant Kumar of grade IX E of Vidya
Bharati School won the Third Prize in the fifth category. He received a certificate of Achievement
along with a Winner‟s Trophy. Aside, his art work was appreciated by all the attendees.
