You retain your rights to any content you submit. By submitting, you grant the Fritz Ascher Society a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license (with the right to sublicense) to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display and distribute such content in any and all media or distribution methods (now known or later developed). Artwork will only be returned, if you provide a self-addressed, stamped envelope. If no return envelope is provided, the artwork will be disposed of. For further questions please contact [email protected] In conjunction with the exhibition Fritz Ascher: Expressionist currently on display at New York University’s Grey Art Gallery, the Fritz Ascher Society for Persecuted, Ostracized and Banned Art, Inc. invites High School Students to submit an essay of up to 500 words poem of up to two pages in length, or an artwork on paper (drawing, watercolor, gouache or collages) that reacts to Fritz Ascher’s art or life. The winners of the contest will receive cash prizes and will be celebrated at an awards ceremony and reception to take place on the evening of May 2, 2019 in Manhattan. During this evening, submissions to the contest will be exhibited.
