Friendship

Silence does not mean knowing nothing,

Not asking is not escaping from knowing a thing;

Each person is unique and different

Jumping into conclusion causes destruction

Those whom we share our friendship betrays us

To our surprise our enemies look out for us;

Open your heart, express what you feel, share your thoughts

Being cautious that it does not fall into the clutch of these so-called friends

The betrayal of a trusted person leaves a wound in the soul

In time it will turn into scars that will remind you of being a fool;

Been betrayed once, let down twice, deceived for a couple more times, it’s enough

People change, but believe me when I tell you it does not happen to all

Betrayal comes our way; we won’t be able to stop it

But we can avoid it

Choose whom to trust and keep your eyes open

Go on; continue spreading your warmth as vast as the ocean.

Don’t think that it’s because a person is silent that he or she does not know a thing

Don’t think that just because she or he is not asking does not mean she or he does not want to know

Sometimes we have to know that the people who we think of as our enemies are the ones who treat us kindly

And the people who we thought of as a friend are the ones who betray us

But to the right people. Some tend to use these to extract our weaknesses and bring our guard down

People change but we also have to keep in mind that not all people do.
