It always warms our hearts to hear family caregivers tell us of their gratitude—like Anita, primary caregiver for her husband, Richard. He is 63, with early onset Alzheimer’s,

and she works full time to support them. Anita called us in tears of stress and exhaustion, afraid to leave him at home alone but not knowing what else to do. She was relieved to find resources, support, and someone to “share the care.”

Richard now attends Friendship Center five days per week, and they pay a reduced daily rate based on their income level. After only one week, Anita reported, “Richard is having such a good time at Friendship Center. He can’t tell me exactly what he does there, but he loves you all and especially appreciates the atmosphere—he says it feels like family.”

We give most grateful thanks for our donors, volunteers, funders, and other supporters. Thank you for partnering with us to continue providing affordable adult day services to all in need—“sharing the care” as we have done since 1976.
