Big Roman Week a real success in 2013.

One of our biggest programmes to date, including fantastic walks and events along the Antonine Wall.

Our reporting year kicked off with our Night at Kinneil House and Museum in May 2014. It was one of our most successful open evenings to date.

Victorian Street FairWe had a publicity stall at the Victorian Street Fair in May 2014, helping to promote the new John Muir Way. There was also a Treasure Hunt around the Town Centre.

Hallowe’en at KinneilWe had one of our most successful Hallowe’en open days, attracting 330 people in just three hours to Kinneil House!

We also provided prizes for the best dressed children.

Bingo time!To raise funds in November we held a Bingo Night in Kinneil Bowling Club, raising more than £500.

A big thanks to the club for its support.

The month ended with another talk – this time to Falkirk Rotary Club.

We’ve continued to support the John Muir Way which runs through the Estate and Foreshore.

PartnershipsWe’ve also worked closely with Historic Scotland, Falkirk Council and Falkirk Community Trust.

This has resulted in a new masterplan for Kinneil being approved. More of that later.

Developing a future strategyDelivered! We worked with Falkirk Community Trust and consultants (with funding from Heritage Lottery Fund, Falkirk Council and The Friends of Kinneil) to revamp Kinneil Museum.

The new-look ground floor was launched in March 2015.
