The Junior Band Instrument Programme students in Classes 5, 6 and 7 wish to invite you to attend our mid-year concert from 2:15pm until 3:00pm on Thursday 7 July in the Eurythmy Room.
The concert will feature short items from the flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet and trombone students of Classes 5, 6 and 7, as well as a couple of exciting pieces from our Junior Wind Band.
The students have been working hard so far this year and would really appreciate your attendance and support of this show!

CLASS 8 PLAY— ROMEO & JULIET
We are pleased to announce that the class 8 play for 2016 will be a readapted version of Shakespeare's timeless love story, Romeo and Juliet. Set on a large wooden platform, with hints of a Shakespearean thrust stage, our production is peppered with modern elements of costuming, technology and live music. This story is told using Shakespeare's original text but also integrates a lot of movement creating stunning imagery. It will be a dynamic production.
This production has been a large undertaking, and for us it has been exciting to watch our class mates grow and be challenged to attempt such difficult material.
Please come and support our efforts as this will be a show not to be missed. Early bird tickets can be purchased from Cathy in the school office.
Although there is no inappropriate material in this production, it will be intense. We suggest that it is appropriate for Class 3 and above.
For those of you who enjoyed the Class 12 Play, this will be completely different but equally dynamic and unexpected.
Come and celebrate the end of term with us and see what Class 8 is made of!

Great news! For those who missed out on the last one, Tracey Bennett will be repeating her plant-based, wholefoods cooking course – this time on Wednesday evenings in Rose Cottage. Please see over the page for full details. Here is a testimonial from someone who attended the last course:
"In a matter of weeks I went from someone who could only cook meat and 3 veg to cooking what my wife and children call gourmet meals. The beautiful thing with this cooking course is that the food is so simple to make, yet nutritious and more importantly, delicious. It has revolutionised all our meals - breakfast, lunch and dinners and we’re all feeling better for it. I actually look forward to preparing the meals and weirdly, find myself baking on weekends, which if you’d told me I’d be doing that a few weeks ago I would have laughed at you. If you want to eat and feel better, then I highly recommend this course."
