Thank you to all the parents who have given up their Ɵme to come and talk to dierent classes over the week. We are planning a Spanish Fiesta along with another local primary school, in Millelds Park during the Summer term, so watch this space! Another exciƟng event this week was the Guinness World Record aƩempt ’Sign to Sing’. Children from both KS1 and KS2 choirs and their peers took part in the event that happened across the country. Thank you to all the staand children who took part –they will be receiving their cerƟcates today. Thank you also to you all for your generous donaƟons. We have also been taking part in lots of sports events again this week. The Year 5 children have nished their basketball coaching at Clapton Academy, the netball team played extremely well on Monday and were runners up in the interHackney compeƟƟon, even though this is their very rst compeƟƟve game. The Millfields netball team played on Monday at Haggerston School and won their heat, beating London Fields by 4-0. This put them into a thrilling final in which they played Woodberry Down, eventually being beaten - only just - in the close final by 1 - 0. This is a great attempt for a team only three weeks old! A big thank you to Sharon for her coaching skills and to Clapton Girls who let us use their courts.
