The Before and After School program offers a safe place for your child to engage in a wide range of activities to support new skills and interests.     Summer CampsMissoula Children’s TheaterAug. 1 - 6. The cost is $5. Tortoise

    vs. the Hare is this year’s production. Ages 5 - 18 are invited to auditions

    Aug. 1, 9 a.m. at Fall Hall Community Center. Rehearsals are Aug. 1 - 5. Times will be determined by various groups. Two professional MCT Tour Actor/Directors audition and cast 50

    - 60 school-age children in a full-length original musical production with staging, songs and movement are learned in four-and-a-half hours each day, (two 2-hour sessions) with a short snack break in between. Performances are Aug. 5, 6 p.m. and Aug. 6, 3 p.m. at Fall Hall.

    Environmental Science CampThis camp is August 8 - 11,

    Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 8 a.m. - noon and Tuesday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. (a day in the forest with a BBQ). This is a unique opportunity for youth ages 11 -14 to combine math, science and the language arts in fun, hands-on projects. Activities will take place in local forest areas and the Teen Center where they will learn about the ecosystem of forests, how the plants interact, how to keep a forest healthy and environmental dangers to the local forests.

    Sideline Sports August 15 - 19. Ages 9 - 12, 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. and ages 13 - 18, 1 - 4 p.m. The cost is $5. Meet new friends and learn a variety of non-traditional sports including ultimate frisbee, badminton, water polo, team handball, lawn games featuring bocce, croquet, horseshoes, disc golf and an obstacle course.

    Fit Family GolfFit Family Golf is August 16, 4:30

    - 6 p.m. Event will be held at the F. E. Warren Golf Course. Start a new family past time. Sign up to learn the basics, a chance to work on your grip and swing. No previous experience required. Register by August 12. Spaces limited so hurry on in!

    Competitive Youth Cheerleader Squad Tryouts

    Youth ages 13 - 17 are invited to try out for the Warren Falcons Cheer team August 15 and 17 at 6 p.m. Tryouts are free and will require an estimated time of 2 - 3 hours per practice to teach the requirements need to make the team. Team requirements include tumbling (round off), cheer (sharp motions and loud voice), dance (2x8 counts dance) and jump (toe touch). The cost is $55. Sign up beginning August 1.

    KempoThis class is a combination of

    both hard and soft styles of martial arts, utilizing hard techniques such as kicking, punching, and blocking, as well as soft techniques similar to Brazilian Jui Ji Tsu.Classes are on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Pee Wee (ages 4 - 6), 6 - 6:45 p.m., Juniors (ages 7 - 15), 6:45 - 7:45 p.m. and Seniors (ages 16 & older), 7:45 - 8:45 p.m. Cost is $40. Discounts for more than one family member are available.
