Amateur-Owner-Handler Class (effective as of 1/1/2009)Chapter 3, Section 7 - The Amateur-Owner-Handler Class shall be for dogs that are at least six months of age that are not champions. Dogs must be handled in the class by the registered owner of the dog. This class is restricted to exhibitors who have not, at any point in time, been a professional dog handler, AKC approved conformation judge, or employed as an assistant to a professional handler. Additionally, members of the immediate family or household of a current professional handler are ineligible for this class (as defined in Chapter 11, Section 13).

A commemorative Rosette bearing the dog's name will be presented for each dog entered. NO FEE. Please include the dog's name, owner's name & any information about the dog to be announced.NR2.24400. Parade of Titleholders - (GOLDEN RETRIEVERS - LIMIT 25 ENTRIES) - A Non-competitive event for any dog holding an AKC and/or GRCA Title. Entry fee is $15.00. A commemorative Rosette bearing the dog's name will be presented for each dog entered. A commemorative Rosette bearing the dog's name will be presented for each dog entered. A brief description of fifty (50) words or less should be sent to Olga Evelyn, P.O. Box 8, Mansfield, CT 06268. Please include the dog's name & titles, call name, owner's name & a summary of the dog's accomplishments.NR2.17600. Parade of Rescues - (TIBETAN MASTIFFS) - Dogs entered in this class may not be entered in a Regular Class at this show, must be neutered or spayed and must have been rehomed through the Tibetan Mastiff Rescue, Inc. or another rescue organization. The Parade will not be judged. For each entry in the Parade of Rescues, indicate ”Parade of Rescues” in the space provided for additional classes. Along with the entry, a brief description must be included. Please include the dog's name, owner's name and a brief summary of the dog's rescue situation. A Commemorative Rosette with dog's name imprinted on it will be presented for each dog entered. NO ENTRY FEE.NR2.43500. Altered Classes - (TIBETAN MASTIFFS, BEARDED COLLIES & BOUVIERS DES FLANDRES) - Class for dogs & class for bitches six (6) months & over that have been neutered or spayed. First place winners of these classes are not eligible to compete for Best of Breed.

NR2.09100. Stud Dog Class - For Stud Dogs & two of their Get (for all except Dachshunds, at least two but not more than three). Stud Dogs must be entered in the Stud Dog Class & must be shown in the ring with their Get. Owner of the Stud Dog need not be the owner of Get. Get only to be judged, based on merits of Get, placing will be made to the Stud Dogs. Get must be entered in a Regular Class, Best of Breed Competition or a Non-Regular Class other than Stud Dog.NR2.09200. Brood Bitch Class - For Brood Bitches & two of their Produce (for all except Dachshunds, at least two but not more than three). Brood Bitches must be entered in the Brood Bitch Class & must be shown in the ring with their Produce. Owners of the Brood Bitch need not be the owners of the Produce. Produce only to be judged, based on the merits of the Produce, placing will be made to the Brood Bitches. Produce must be entered in a Regular Class, Best of Breed Competition or a Non-Regular Class other than Brood Bitch.Stud Dog & Brood Bitch will not be eligible for Best of Breed Competition, if based only on a first place winning in these classes.NR2.09300. Brace Class - (GOLDEN RETRIEVERS, IRISH SETTERS, DACHSHUNDS, CHIHUAHUAS, POODLES, BEARDED COLLIES & BOUVIERS DES FLANDRES) - Two Dogs of the same breed or variety & must have at least one common owner & presented by a maximum of two handlers. - The dogs comprising the Brace MUST be named at the time of the entry. If a dog which is to be a part of the Brace is not entered in another class, it must be entered for “Brace Class Only”. In making an entry for “Brace Class Only” full particulars must be given for each dog on individual regular entry forms. An entry form for a dog entered in another class & entered as part of a Brace MUST be marked accordingly in the space provided for additional classes - “Brace Class”. If more than one Brace is entered by the identical owner, the dogs comprising EACH Brace must be so designated, i.e. Brace #1, Brace #2, etc.

NoticeThe Show Building will be available on Thursday when ready, but not before 3:00 P.M., until 10:30 P.M. for unloading.The Show Building will be open at 6:00 A.M. and close at 10:30 P.M. on Friday through Monday.Crated dogs will be allowed to remain in the building overnight PROVIDED that each crate is identified with the name and address of the responsible party. A local phone number for contacting the responsible party must be provided for all dogs left overnight. The clubs are not responsible for dogs left in the building.The clubs, their members, directors, officers, agents, superintendent and/or superintendents and the employees of the said clubs and/or their superintendent or superintendents will not be liable for loss or injury which may be sustained through the disappearance, loss, theft, injury and/or death of dogs entered in these events whether said clubs, their members, directors, officers, agents, superintendent and/or superintendents and/or employees of their superintendent and/or superintendents or by the negligence of any person or by any other cause.Harry Miller's site control will be supervising the set up of the grooming areas.No Soft Crates allowed except in the Obedience Crating Area.Crates, up to and including #400 shall be stacked.No Grooming in Center Hall.No Private Ex-Pens in Building.No Space Saving in Grooming Areas.Electricity fee rates are $35.00 for four days and $10.00 for single days.No space for unentered dogs.No retractable leads/flexi leads shall be used in the building or on the show grounds.All dogs must be removed from the building within one half hour of the completion of Best in Show judging on Monday.Warning: Due to incidents that have occurred at other shows, we highly recommend that you do not leave dogs unattended in cars, exercise pens or motor homes; and we suggest that you secure your crates for the safety of your dogs.Please bring water for your dogs & folding chairs to the show grounds.If it is necessary to rescue a dog from a parked vehicle on the show grounds, the clubs will not be responsible or liable for any damage to the vehicle involved.

INSTRUCTIONS1. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the par-ticular variety you are entering, i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding 13in., over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.), Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Collies (rough, smooth), BullTerriers (colored, white), Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels(King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard).
2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition: Dogs that are Championsof Record and dogs which, according to their owners’ records, have completed the requirements for a championship, butwhose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limitedto a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship.
3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog isdivided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are enteringyour dog, i.e, age division, color division, weight division.
4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. If aregistered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for whichentries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certifi-cate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name. State on entry form whether transfer application has been mailed tothe AKC. (For complete rules, refer to Chapter 11, Section 3.)
5. Mixed Breed dogs entering classes for Agility, Obedience, and Rally trials should mark Breed as “MIXED BREED.”Variety, Breeder, Sire, Dam, information shall remain blank for mixed breed entrants.

AGREEMENT
I (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem suffi-cient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have thedog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members,directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premisesand any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforemen-tioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which maybe alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about theevent premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability forany such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury ordamage to this dog.Additionally, I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify, defend and save the aforementionedparties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law uponany of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting therefrom,sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of damage to property, arising out of orin consequence of my (our) participation in this event, however such, injuries, death or property damage may be caused,and whether or not the same may have been caused or may be alleged to have been caused by the negligence of theaforementioned parties or any of their employees, agents, or any other persons. I (WE) AGREE THAT ANY CAUSE OFACTION, CONTROVERSY OR CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE ENTRY, EXHIBITION OR ATTENDANCE ATTHE EVENT BETWEEN THE AKC AND THE EVENT-GIVING CLUB (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED IN ITS PREMIUM LIST)AND MYSELF (OURSELVES) OR AS TO THE CONSTRUCTION, INTERPRETATION AND EFFECT OF THIS AGREEMENTSHALL BE SETTLED BY ARBITRATION PURSUANT TO THE APPLICABLE RULES OF THE AMERICAN ARBITRATIONASSOCIATION. HOWEVER, PRIOR TO ARBITRATION ALL APPLICABLE AKC BYLAWS, RULES, REGULATIONS ANDPROCEDURES MUST FIRST BE FOLLOWED AS SET FORTH IN THE AKC CHARTER AND BYLAWS, RULES, REGULA-TIONS, PUBLISHED POLICIES AND GUIDELINES.
INSTRUCTIONS1. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the par-ticular variety you are entering, i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding 13in., over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.), Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Collies (rough, smooth), BullTerriers (colored, white), Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels(King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard).
2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition: Dogs that are Championsof Record and dogs which, according to their owners’ records, have completed the requirements for a championship, butwhose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limitedto a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship.
3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog isdivided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are enteringyour dog, i.e, age division, color division, weight division.
4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. If aregistered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for whichentries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certifi-cate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name. State on entry form whether transfer application has been mailed tothe AKC. (For complete rules, refer to Chapter 11, Section 3.)
5. Mixed Breed dogs entering classes for Agility, Obedience, and Rally trials should mark Breed as “MIXED BREED.”Variety, Breeder, Sire, Dam, information shall remain blank for mixed breed entrants.
