Tiana Meet and Greet Event in partnership with The Entertainer
On Thursday 23rd August, the Centre is hosting a meet and greet event for the Youtube star Tiana. The Entertainer are the
event organisers and the meet and greet will take place inside the Centre between 10am and 4pm. This is a ticketed only event and tickets are available to be collected via The Entertainer store on Saturday 18th at 9am and on the morning of the event on Thursday 23rd at 9am.
As you can imagine, with 2.7million subscribers, this event is expected to be very busy and bring a substantial number of customers into the scheme during this time. However, it does give tenants a great opportunity to capitalise on the additional footfall.
To drive footfall to the Centre over the August bank
holiday period, Lower Precinct is hosting its Grow, Make
and Eat! event. Between 11am and 4pm on Friday 24th
and Saturday 25th August, families can enjoy our pop-up
garden/ allotment to learn about growing fruit and veg
plus taking part in a food-based activity. Alongside the
event, there will be pop-up food stalls and our charity of
the year will be on-site hosting a biscuit making workshop.
As if the above was not enough… on Saturday 25th
we will have the ‘Vegetable Nannies’ with us to run
interactive food-based workshops at various intervals
throughout the day.
Get InvolvedAll tenants are encouraged to donate vouchers or prizes for each of the events. We are looking for bounce-back vouchers to give to parents whilst their children are taking
part in our activities.
With Back to School in full swing. Please let the
marketing team know if you would like
to advertise any particular products/
offers across the Lower Precinct website
and social media. We are also looking to
run a competition on our social channels,
so for those that want to get involved
please contact the marketing team!
Student Shopping Night
Don’t forget this year’s Student Shopping Night will take place on Wednesday 3rd October, from 6pm until 10pm.
We are working with Coventry BID and West Orchards to create a City-wide event with the theme being ‘The Greatest Showman” and all additional activity will be centred around this theme.
Please make sure you let the marketing team know whether you plan to stay open during the event. Currently we have planned activation around the main event area and we want to ensure we support everyone.
If you plan on having any activity in your stores along with special offers, make sure the marketing team are aware. The more information we have to shout about to the students at the fresher’s fayre the more inclined they are to attend and the strong our pre-promotion is. Deadline for activity and offers is 28th August.
We need content from retailers to ensure that all website content is kept up to date and promotes your stores. If you have offers, product information, in store events, job vacancies or anything else that you would like to add to the website, please contact the marketing team. If your store has its own website or social media pages, make sure you have liked the Lower Precinct social channels and we will help cross promote any activity or offers you have running in store. Also - don’t forget to tag the Centre in any of your Facebook/ Twitter and Instagram posts for us to share and retweet! Our handles are:
