• The AD-S-9180 is a point-to-multipoint, frequency-shifting repeater

system that overcomes the antenna isolation problem in conventional

repeater system.• Each AD-S-9180 can support 2 or 4 channel frequencies, and may be

connected in parallel for higher number of channels.

• Comprises of Master Unit (Direct or Wireless Coupling) and Remote Unit.

• Available in GSM-DCS, GSM-GSM and DCS-DCS.

• Wireless remote and local monitor function (OMT).

• Optional powerful remote repeater network administration (OMC).

Considerations

• Mounting surface suitable to support

chassis’ weight:< 51kg

• Power outlet within 4m.

• Terminate unused

antenna ports with

a 50-ohm terminator.

Procedures

a) Fix mounting rack to a wall with 4 expansion bolts (M10×100). If the

mounting surface is not strong enough, add 2 more expansion bolts tothe upper mounting rack.

b) Raise the chassis and position it over the mounting rack. Ensure the 2

rack nuts on left and right upper corners of rear chassis is engaged into

the hook of mounting rack.

c) Open the chassis door lock by loosening the 4 bolts on four corners of

chassis cover, using the special key in anti-clockwise direction.

d) Tighten the inner hexagon bolts (M8×80) to mounting rack.

e) Close the chassis cover, tighten the bolts on four corners and lock it.

Installation is accomplished.

Procedures

• Fix the mounting rack with 2

U expansion bolts to a pole(Φ65~75). If the diameter of

the pole is larger than Φ75,

one set of special clamp

should be ordered to install

the repeater.

• The remaining steps are as

same as the wall-mounting

type.
