French Moves1751: Official French policy is to drive British from the
Ohio Country. They begin to build a string of forts.
Ohio Land CompanyIn 1753 Ohio Land Company is formed. They are given 200,000 acres of land.
Company is formed by wealthy Virginians. Robert Dinwiddie and Lawrence Washington are just two.
