Millennials in 13th century Paris
In fall 2018, we will follow the life of a typical 20-year-
old in Europe’s largest, most cosmopolitan city. From
royalty and aristocrats to merchants and clerics, from
knights and students to gamblers, prostitutes, and
beggars. We will examine the private lives of people
within their homes, and their public life in the city and
will discover how they dressed, ate, washed, slept,
loved, worked, fought, worshipped, danced, and played.
