Pre-requisites

You’ll need to create your own Amazon AWS account at http://aws.amazon.com in order to

access the trial

You will need the Security Credentials from your Amazon AWS account

Step 1

Go to the SAP HANA Marketplace at http://try.saphana.com/erp

Click on “30-Day FREE Trial”




Step 2

You will be presented with the Log On screen to the SAP Cloud Appliance Library.

Enter your username and password on the log on screen

If you do not have a username or password then click on “Register Now” to create one



Step 3

After you entered your user credentials and logged on you will be presented with the Terms

and Conditions for the SAP Cloud Appliance Library

Read them carefully then Click “I Accept”



Step 4

After you accepted the Terms and Conditions for the SAP Cloud Appliance Library you will

be presented with the Terms and Conditions of the trial

Read them carefully then Click “I Accept”



Step 5

In the SAP Cloud Appliance Library you will

then be asked to provide your Amazon AWS

Security Credentials

On this screen you can also define the

Administrator password for the Administrator

account for the systems

Click on “Create Instance” after you provided

those details.



Step 6

You are being navigated to the tab Instances for your new landscape.

You can also use the link to the User Guide to see the details of the pre-configured

scenarios



Step 7

Within 30 – 40 minutes the systems are ready to be used.

You can click on the systems line item to receive the details (next slide).



Step 8

You will find the IP Address of the trial on the left panel of the Details page that you can use

to start a remote desktop session to the trial



Step 9

On the overview page you can also start, stop, suspend and terminate the systems.

It is recommended to use these commands instead of directly using the ones on the

Amazon AWS Console to ensure your configuration (for example, IP Numbers) remains

intact
