Entries close for Classes on Monday 2nd July, see entry form on websiteEach competitor will jump a course of show jumps before continuing on to a course of XC fences- including step, water and XC fences on a surface and on grass (weather permitting). The XC section will be timed and the competitor with the fewest jumping penalties and nearest the optimum time will be the winner. XC dress (incl. body protectors and current safety standard hats) must be worn. Rosettes to 6th place. Classes will be split junior and senior if adequate entries. The day will start at 11.00 with a ‘Course Walk’ - this is open to all those having a lesson with Hannah but anyone not booked to ride may still join the course walk and learn from a
professional Show Jumping Coach at a cost of just £5.00.
45 minute Private Lesson - £35.00 1 hour Semi-private Lesson – £25.00 per person
1 hour Group Lesson (3-4 riders) - £ 15.00 per person

Hannah is a British Horse Society Intermediate Instructor (BHSII) and a UKCC Level 3 Coach. She also holds a University Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS) and is currently working part time as a Lecturer in the Equine Unit of an agricultural college. She has Show Jumped for Great Britain on numerous National Show Jumping teams in both the UK and Europe, and has competed at Hickstead (RIHS), Olympia and the Horse of the Year Show. Hannah teaches private clients and is a Show Jump trainer for a number of Riding Clubs and Pony Clubs. She regularly competes with her own horses, as well as horses owned by, and on behalf of other people. She also takes horses for schooling and to sell on for clients. Hannah is happy to teach riders of any standard, whether they are competing at affiliated or unaffiliated or just hoping to do so in the future.

This agreement must be read and accepted prior to mounting or teaching at Lodge Farm Equestrian Centre (LFEC). Any person using the facilities who does not may be asked to leave immediately.General conditions.Save for death or personal injury caused by their negligence, neither the owners or operators of LFEC nor their employees (“the Owners”) accept any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to riders, horses, spectators, property, vehicles and their contents or accessories howsoever caused. All persons using the facilities do so at their own risk.The Owners reserve the right to cancel any event or reservation without notice and reserve the right to refuse admission.Riders, trainers, spectators and helpers must not cause a nuisance or disturbance to any others using the premises, or to any of our neighbors.Dogs are not permitted onto the Premises without the prior permission of the Hirers. Dogs admitted must be kept on a lead at all times and are the responsibility of their owner/handler. All dog waste must be cleared up.Smoking is not permitted in any enclosed area on the Premises.If you must smoke please utilise the ashtray located outside the pedestrian entrance to the enclosed arena. Please obey all signage and take all litter home with you. All breakages must be paid for in full.Equestrian conditions.Any person using the facilities for reward must carry appropriate third party / public liability insurance. The Owners strongly recommend that all riders hold third party and personal accident insurance.All riders must wear a riding hat conforming to the current BHS standard and suitable footwear must be worn whilst mounted. A responsible adult must accompany riders under the age of 18 years. Horses may be unpredictable and can be dangerous! We recommend that all riders be accompanied by another responsible person (who may be mounted or not) and should have access to a mobile telephone in order to summon assistance in the event of an emergency.
Riders are required to remove all droppings left by their horse(s) in any arena and to clear all droppings/hay from the parking area.Any show jumps (including fillers and poles) or other items moved in an arena must be returned to their original position and all items taken into the arenas must be removed the end of the session. Riders, their trainers, spectators and helpers must not take any glass or breakable objects onto any of the arenas.Users are required to close the gates of facilities when entering or exiting them. Vehicles parked at own risk.A First Aid Kit is available in the Staff Room.The Fire Point is located by a sign on the south west side of LFEC adjacent to the road fence.The Owners reserve the right to require riders, trainers or any other persons using the Facilities to leave in circumstances where, in the opinion of the Owners or their staff, a person is creating a dangerous situation, riding in a dangerous manner, mistreating a horse or acting irresponsibly. Any persons asked to leave must immediately remove their horses, their transport and themselves from the Premises.Horses must not be left unattended at any time unless in horse box or trailer. Tying and leaving outside the horsebox or trailer is not permitted. Feeding of hay nets outside horsebox or trailer is not permitted.Definitions:“The Owners” are Lodge Farm owners, employees and contractors.“The Premises” is the land, buildings and facilities at Lodge Farm Equestrian Centre. “The Rider(s)” is/are the person(s) using Lodge Farm. The Rider is responsible for any trainer, spectator, groom, assistant or observer in attendance at the Premises at the request of the Rider.
