The focus on health care in America seems to be one of the most popular subjects. With insurance and medical costs reaching an all-time high, Ameri-cans without insurance are resorting to fitness, mir-acle drugs, and supplements.

The suits’ deep pockets have created a multi-bil-lion dollar business, and in spite of all the miraculous discoveries in modern medicine, it seems like Amer-icans are sicker now than ever before. New hospitals and clinics are springing up everywhere as if they know something that we don’t know, as if they have planned it from the movie Field of Dreams. “If you build it, they will come.”

Everybody wants to treat their condition, rather than to find the cause. Even with new technology and treatment, more Americans are sicker now than ever before! Let’s take a walk back in time and see if the Bible may have some answers. Matthew 4:23: “And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their

synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the king-dom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.”

He wanted to teach the people by healing all manner of sickness and disease among them for their mental

understanding. He knew if he preached the ministries to them about taking care of their health, it would relate to their understanding of their spiritual health. John 10:10: “I am coming that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly.”

It’s amazing how your brain (a physical organ) can perform a million functions in your body we are not even aware of. Even brain surgeons will admit that they don’t understand how a thought is stored. Could a thought be a medium which God can communicate to us spiritually through faith?

You can lose any part of your body and still communicate through your thoughts, which makes your brain the holiest part of your body. This may give us a clue as to why God wants us to focus on our health so we will have a clearer mind and be able to recognize his spiritual voice.

On the other hand, the Devil knows by de-stroying our health, he can confuse and cloud our minds. Just think, a whole generation becoming fuzzier with drugs, slanderous music, and videos. The more unhealthy he can make us, the more we won’t be able to hear the Holy Spirit.

God’s Health Care Plan

David wrote in Psalm 27:4, “One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life.” When David expressed the desire to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of his life, he didn’t mean that he wanted to live in a church all the time. What he really wanted was to sense God’s presence in his life all the time. His one thing was his relationship with God.

Paul wrote in Philippians 3:8, “…everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.” Once

again, we see Paul had one thing more important than anything else in his life. His one thing was his relationship with Jesus.

All of us have busy lives. Much of our time is consumed by activities we have to do. We have to work to support ourselves and those we love. We have to make meals, clean clothes, fix things around our homes, and the list goes on. How we live in God’s presence while doing the things we have to do is a discussion for another time.

New Year’s Resolution:“Who Do You Say I Am?” Luke 9:18-20

“Say You Saw It In A Dunndeal Publication”2 January 2018Phone: 813-949-4411

The New Year is a time to reflect on the changes we want or need to make. Many of us commit to exercise, eat healthy, get orga-nized, or learn a new skill. But what if this year was the year we aligned our priorities with God’s priorities. Maybe it’s time to make a new resolution.

Statistically, 50% of Americans say they set New Year’s resolutions. Others are on the other end of the spectrum. My New Year’s resolution this year is to NEVER think about resolutions.

The top New Year’s resolutions every year are: lose weight, something financial (man-age debt, spend less, save), get organized, live life to the fullest, and quit smoking.

I bet Jesus never had to set resolutions. He was going to do exactly what he did last year. It was easy for him, but it’s not so easy for the rest of us… right?

The problem is all the data collected says within one week of setting New Year’s resolu-tions, 50% will fail at them, and within six months, 90% fail.

I want to talk about a principle that most people have missed in the process. That’s why we struggle with keeping our resolutions or goals. I want to talk to you about a principle that you are either going to embrace in your life or later on bump up against and regret it. In a nutshell: You should always define who you want to be before ever deciding what you should do.

Every January we dive into, “What am I going to do this year?” Most of us never step

back and define who we want to be. Have you ever defined your life purpose? Why you are here on Earth? Doing so will transform everything about your life.

Here are two practical steps you can take to define who you want to be.

Step #1. Write down your personal mis-sion statement.

Think about the end of your life. What do you want written on your tombstone? Because if you don’t think about and define what your life should be all about, imagine what you could drift towards?

When you don’t define who you want to BE, your goals are usually motivated by one thing—ME. Don’t make your mission state-ment just about you.

“Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.” Proverbs 19:21

Besides a personal mission statement, you need to #2. Write down your personal values.

Your personal values are guardrails in life that help you stay on the path that leads to where you want to go. If your mission state-ment is what’s written on your tombstone, your personal values are how you want peo-ple to stand up at your funeral and describe you. Define who you want to be so at the end of 2018 and at the end of every year from now on, you will not drift to a place where you are living a life that’s empty.

Yours for a purposeful 2018,Keith

The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, com-munity businesses leaders, and concerned citizens are coming together January 20, 2018 for the 3rd annual Light Up the Night to focus a spotlight on human trafficking; the exploitation of human beings for commercial sex, forced labor, or involuntary servitude.

Human trafficking is the second largest criminal enterprise worldwide, ranking only behind illegal drugs and netting billions of dollars annually, and it’s happening right here in Pasco County.

Sponsored by the David Maus Founda-tion, Light Up the Night will feature a 5K Race/Walk at Pasco Hernando State College Porter Campus, followed by LIVE music with Shalyah, Word of Life, and Jennifer McGill “Unbreakable,” as well as educational materi-als, vendors, a kid’s zone and more! Located at The Shops at Wiregrass, upper level parking deck, this occasion is enjoyable for all ages.

Sponsorships are available and proceeds will benefit six local non-profits dedicated to the recovery of trafficked individuals.

The race begins at 4:30pm and the live concert at 6:00pm. Visit www.lightupthe-nighttampabay.com to register for the race or for additional information.

Women-n-Charge January Meeting

I heard of a gentleman who wanted to be better disciplined in his finances so he asked his friend to keep him accountable.

The gentleman is an avid golfer and his friend saw him one day hitting golf balls in the pouring rain. He went to his friend and said, “You don’t lack discipline, you lack mo-tivation.”

Like the gentleman above, every year one of the top 5 New Year’s resolutions is making better financial decisions.

We always start with good intentions and motives but when March of the new year rolls around, we’ve already abandoned most of our resolutions, and our goals are 3 months be-hind. Why is that?

May I suggest that motivation has to be the driver. Is your motivating factor strong enough to continue your goal?

Hi, my name is Andy Whitten and I’m a licensed financial advisor. I’ve been giving financial advice for over 10 years and enjoy helping people achieve their goals.

This year I will give you some financial guidance to help keep your motivation

strong. These tips will range from planning, savings, investing, and retirement.

To start, I’d like to give you 3 suggestions when creating your financial goals.

1. Write them down. Statistically, people who write their goals have a higher success rate of achieving them. It will help clarify the goal if it’s written down.

2. Ask yourself “why?” Why do you want to accomplish this goal? Then ask yourself why again. If you can continue to answer the question “why,” you will be able to examine your true intention and determine whether the goal is worth pursuing.

3. Make sure it’s measurable and attainable. Giving yourself criteria to measure, such as SMART goals, (Specific, Measurable, Achiev-able, Results-Oriented, and Time-Limited) can make it very rewarding when you see you’re on track. It also motivates you to continue.

This is just a start for creating your finan-cial goals. If you have suggestions on finan-cial subjects you would like to read about, please email me at [email protected]. I look forward to sharing with you.

In Biblical days, high walls and massive gates to protect the inhabitants from invad-ers surrounded the towns. When the gates were destroyed or the walls were broken down the enemy had access to terrorize, to steal from, and destroy those who lived there because their defenses were compromised.

The city of Jerusalem had experienced such distress when the Babylonians broke down the city walls and burned the gates. The en-tire population of the city was exiled for 70 years. When the Jews returned, one of their greatest needs was to secure the city.

“Then said I unto them, you see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lies waste and the gates thereof are burned with fire: come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach.” (Neh. 2:17).

Nehemiah was able to organize the people to rebuild and secure the city from their ene-mies. “So the wall was finished, and when all our enemies heard thereof, they were much cast down in their own eyes: for they per-ceived that this work was a work of our God” (Neh. 6:15,16).

Today, people and families are very much like the walled cities of old. Their enemies have entered in and robbed them of peace, prosperity, and security and many of these victims do not even recognize the identity of their adversaries.

The Bible shows us that our real enemies are not people (Eph. 6:12) but unseen forces that come against us with thoughts, feelings, fears, and judgments. These enemies of God and man attempt to deceive people and di-vide them with lies and accusations, foster-

ing hatred and contempt for one another and bringing blame and provoking hostili-ties that ultimately lead to the destruction of relationships, partnerships, and even to physical harm of property and life itself. Our jails and hospitals are filled with those who have injured others or themselves and blame everyone but the true manipulators who re-main unseen.

So how do you fight an unseen foe? The Bible tells us that our weapons are not physi-cal, but they are mighty and powerful (2 Cor. 10:4). Our unseen armor is not some-thing we can manufacture ourselves. Truth, righteousness, good news of peace, faith, sal-vation, and the Word of God are our only defenses (Eph. 6:14-17).

These things are not of our own making. God gives them to us, but we must be willing to receive them.

Some people will refuse to receive what God has so freely given because they did not obtain them by their own strength or wis-dom. To gain victory over our enemies we must first humble ourselves and acknowl-edge that our victory is not because of our strength, but because of God’s love.

Our ability to receive from God begins with humbling ourselves before him, then submitting ourselves to him we can receive what only God has to give. We receive his truth and righteousness, his peace and salva-tion and these things change us.

God empowers us to walk in love, even to-wards those who count us their enemy. If we live in the love of God and we are free from offense and from judging others or believing lies or accusations, we can then cast down vain thoughts and exalted imaginations that try to get us to act on them and fulfill the will of our unseen adversaries.

God becomes a “wall of fire” about us and his glory fills our lives (Zech. 2:5). We can keep

our cities (families, homes, businesses, minis-tries and country) safe and secure from every work of the enemy when Jesus is Lord and we choose to humbly receive from him the power that overcomes every evil work (1 Jn. 5:3-5).

May you be clothed with the unseen ar-mor of God and kept safe from the lies of the enemy. May your lives be filled with joy and your homes with the blessings of God as you choose to walk in love and humble

Why do statistics show that 90% of people who set a resolution for the New Year don’t stick with it and are right back where they were before within weeks?

Let’s face it, change is hard. If it were easy, then everyone would do it, but it’s not. It takes a desire to see change in your life, being fed up with where you are, belief that you can do it, a plan of action that is different then you have done before, accountability, and monitoring your progress.

Thinking about it doesn’t get results—taking action does. We can complain about how much we want our lives to change, but if we keep doing the same thing that got us there, then we can’t expect change. People do change, I am not only proof of that with overcoming sugar and food addictions but so are the over 6,000 women we have trained.

One of those women is Cathy, who is 65 and has gone from a 16 to a size 6 in 9 months! And she said with our help, it was easier than she thought it would be! Was it worth it? You better believe it! Every time I see her, she gives me a big hug and thanks me for helping get her life back. She has also been able to get off all medication by her doc-tor’s consent, reverse pre-diabetes, and reverse osteopenia (the stage before osteoporosis).

Sometimes it can be as simple as having someone you know is “in your corner” who is going to be looking out for you and making sure you are doing what you said you were go-ing to do—that is the power of accountability.

She was also fed up with being so tired,

having more aches and pains and just feeling older. But instead, she has learned how to eat in a way she loves, has toned her body, and feels incredible! She says she feels like she has aged backwards and feels 20 years younger since she is feeling so young and vibrant. I am SO proud of her!

What do you want to see change in your life? You CAN do it. I encourage you to do something different this year. Consider be-coming a client at my private personal train-ing studios for women where we help you learn how to eat instead of diet. Our goal is to help you really get results, not just wish you could. You don’t burn any calories by thinking about having a different body—you have to do something about it.

We just opened our 4th location in West-chase (the others are in Carrollwood, Wes-ley Chapel, and Land O’ Lakes). Take that next step, possibly one of the biggest steps towards you seeing change this year, and set up a Body Transformation Analysis with us. No obligation to do anything, just check it out and see if it’s right for you. Then you can look back on this last year and say, “Wow, look what I have accomplished!” instead of living in regret wishing you would have done something once again.

God has given us all a free will. We can choose to live differently. Are you ready for THIS to be the year you really see and feel some change? Call us at 813-377-3739 or you can go to this webpage: www.Saman-thaTaylorFitness.com.

We have a huge women’s conference on Jan 20th called “EmpowerHER” and our next 6 week challenge starts Jan 29th. But don’t wait to get started for that, if you be-come a member in January, we will give you the 6 week challenge for free! See our ads in this paper. Happy New Year!

Oh boy, this is either bad timing or good timing today! Our topic in this issue of Bibli-cal Finances is on Debt and Borrowing—and right after Christmas, too. Sorry folks. Hon-estly, if you went into debt a lot for Christmas, I think you should speak with God about that. He may help you realize your priorities, especially if you are increasing your debt and probably your burden in this life. Hey, don’t be one of those people that complain to God about your finances and shortness of money if you are the one overspending. That’s not God’s fault, now is it?

Yes, I know this whole topic is counter-culture. All the TV commercials, ads in the newspapers, popups on our phones and computers—it’s non-stop!! But you and I must control ourselves from “spontaneous spending.” We must!! It is the foundation of all of our finances. It really doesn’t matter how much you make in itself because it also includes your spending.

Here is a good phrase I actually learned back in the 80’s when I was being ordained: “If your outgo is more than your income, then your upkeep will be your downfall.” Simple really—don’t spend more than you make. Don’t do it, it really hurts you. Borrow-ers are always “indebted” to the lender. No one knows what is going to happen tomorrow and to presume on the future is very risky.

Albert Einstein once referred to “com-pounding interest” as the eighth wonder

of the world. When we reverse the positive growth of interest to the negative growth of interest owed, it becomes a ravaging beast at-tacking our home.

I’d like to end with the 7 Principles of Debt and Borrowing:

1) Borrowing in itself is not a sin.2) Borrowing may deny God an opportu-

nity to show up.3) Borrowing always presumes on the fu-

ture. It is not guaranteed.4) Having debt with the inability to repay

on a timely basis is bondage.5) Debt is almost always symptomatic of a

spiritual problem.6) When we borrow on consumptive

wants, it will sentence one to a reduced life-style. What takes 6 months to get into debt will take 6 years to get out of debt. The fu-ture will be limited in its freedoms.

7) Husbands and wives must be in perfect agreement regarding borrowing.

I haven’t always done it right, but when I do, it is a very powerful feeling and a pleasur-able lifestyle. If we can use our personal dis-ciplines, we will experience personal delight, and we can do this with God’s help.

Caring for you and yours,Jim

The Cold and Flu Season is Here!Written by Anne Childers

Author Tells Parents’ Story of WWII

Dr. Michele Johnson-Towson is a board-certified pediatrician with 26 years of experi-ence in caring for children ages newborn to 21 years old. The doctor is encouraging patients to schedule now for flu shots. Vaccines are avail-able and same-week appointments are possible.

Dr. Johnson-Towson and her staff are ded-icated to keeping patients both healthy and educated on changes in children’s healthcare. The live attenuated nasal flu spray vaccine is not recommended this year due to the Cen-ter for Disease Control (CDC) failing to prove it was adequate enough over the last 3 flu seasons to keep patients from contracting the influenza A (H1N1) type virus.

Normally, it is recommended for patients ages 2 to 49 that are healthy without under-lying medical problems. The flu shot, which contains coverage against the influenza A&B strains, is available in proper doses for ages 6 months and up.

Tampa Bay students have been back in school for several weeks, sharing germs right along with academics and sports. Be sure to call Pediatric Place of Tampa and schedule checkups and physicals to keep your whole

family healthy. It is important for shots to be up-to-date and hearing and vision tests current so students are ready for learning and healthy playing.

Pediatric Place of Tampa accepts all in-surances as well as self-pay patients. New patients are always welcome! Pediatric Place of Tampa is conveniently located at 1338 W. Fletcher Avenue in Tampa. January DevotionalRev. Joshua Murray, Christ Cumberland Church

Luke 2:41-52Has anyone here ever misplaced anything?

You know that it’s just got to be somewhere in the house. It could be your keys, wallet, or the instructions for the TV.

It was in the law that every adult male Jew who lived within fifteen miles of Jerusa-lem had to attend the Passover. Despite the costs and the tremendous commitment of time, Mary and Joseph adhered to the tra-ditions of the faith. And even though she didn’t have to, Mary also attended with Jo-seph every year.

So, Mary, Joseph, and Jesus go to Jerusalem to celebrate the feast of Passover. When the feast was over, the journey back home began. It was evening when camp was made that they first realized they had misplaced Jesus.

I am sure Mary thought Jesus was with Joseph. And Joseph thought Jesus was with Mary. So it was not until that evening they

discovered Jesus had been misplaced or even lost at this point. While they were thoroughly engrossed in their devout religious pilgrim-age, they lost Jesus. In their attempt to draw closer to God and demonstrate their love for God, they essentially misplaced God.

Like all good parents, they get scared and head back to the city to look for Jesus. I imagine when they find him they are re-lieved and worried and mad all at the same time. Mary confronts Jesus, saying “Your fa-ther and I were so worried about you! Where have you been?” Jesus gently replies, “Don’t you know I must be about my Father’s busi-ness?” They often didn’t understand Jesus, and because of that, they had lost sight of who he was and what he was sent to do.

Now Mary and Joseph weren’t the only ones along the way to not understand Jesus. The same is true of the disciples and the people of his hometown. The same is true of the religious establishment. The same is true of most people today.

It’s easy for people to be so caught up in religious activity – spiritual activity – that they lose sight of the most important thing of all, Jesus himself. How often do we so immerse ourselves in our religion – our church, our worship, our activities, that we lose Christ?

“Who Do You Say I Am?”Continued from Page 1

My question for today is, “What do we do with our discretionary time?” What do we do with our free time that we get to choose how to spend it? Whether a small amount of time or a large amount of time, how we choose to spend it defines the priorities of our heart.

So many things can appear to be abso-lutely necessary: time for us, time to decom-press, time to have fun, time to rest, and many others.

However, David and Paul would tell us there is one thing more important than all

those things that appear to be so necessary – our relationship with God.

We don’t get to choose how we spend all of our time, but we do get to choose how we spend some of our time. I encourage you to make your relationship with God the one thing more important than everything else.

In doing that one thing, having an inti-mate relationship with God, you will find everything you really need and truly desire. Listen to your heart. What is your one thing for 2018? Who do you say I am?

“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.”

— Psalms 91:1-2

God’s Health Care PlanContinued from Page 1

We can identify with that when we see someone who’s had a few drinks. They may seem at ease, even being funny or dancing around. But after a few too many, suddenly they turn into a lunatic, becoming out of their head. You’ve heard the old expression, “The Devil got a hold of them.”

One of the Old Testament teachings is called fasting, because it gives your mind a chance to rest and your blood to get purified from the harmful and different things we are eating. Plus, it teaches us self-control. Mat-thew 9:15: “And Jesus said to them, “Can the wedding guests mourn as long as the bride-groom is with them? The days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast.”

The Bible does not say that you can’t eat meat, but because the human body takes longer to digest it, meat will stay in your system and start to putrefy, causing colon cancer, diverticulitis, and a whole ream of other problems. So meat probably shouldn’t be part of the human diet, but the Bible does say you’re not supposed to eat what God calls abomination, and nowhere does God call something an abomination in one place and clean somewhere else. Once he declares abomination, it’s forever.

He said among the animals in Leviticus 11:3: “You may eat any animal that has a divided hoof and that chews the cud.” Not one of those two

things, but both. A rabbit chews the cud but has paws. A pig or swine has a cloven hoof but it does not chew the cud. These animals are scav-engers and are considered unclean. But neither does it say you have to be a vegetarian.

Among the seafood—Leviticus 11:9: “These you shall eat of all that are in the wa-ters: whatsoever has fins and scales. Them you may eat.” It was interesting that the Navy did a number of studies about what sailors eat or don’t eat for survival, and what they came up with was the exact same Bible quote. If it doesn’t have fins and scales, don’t eat it! Lobster, shrimp, and oysters, when you think about it, these are scavengers.

Lobsters crawl around the bottom eating dead things. God created these creatures to clean up the environment. Catfish have fins but they do not have scales. They used to say that you catch the biggest catfish by the mouth of the sewer. They’re not clean; they’re on the abomination list.

Among the birds—Leviticus 11:15-16: “Every raven after his kind, and the owl, and the night hawk, cuckow and the hawk after its kind. And the pelican I say that these things were unclean.” Birds that are foraging birds like chicken, turkey, pheasant, and the quail, that peck around for the seeds are typically the clean ones. You probably didn’t know that pi-geons are considered to be clean.

Abomination is a reference to animals that God says not to eat, as well as animals that are kept and killed in the inhumane environ-ment. When this is done, it induces high lev-els of toxins from stress and transfers it to the meat. Example:

The difference between free roaming chick-ens vs. caged chickens. Veal we eat from a caged calf. In fact, even doctors will tell you that stress in our bodies make us sick! The same is true about how we keep our livestock.

Isaiah 66:15-17: “‘For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury. They that sanctify themselves and purify themselves, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together,’ saith the Lord.” God is putting pork and rats in the same category. “‘They will be consumed to-gether,’ says the Lord.” God does not want his people eating pork.

The US Department of Agriculture printed pamphlets about pigs, telling us if you are go-ing to eat it, you better cook it very well to kill the trichina larvae. Do not cook your pork in a microwave, because some of the trichina cysts could survive. When the cysts are eaten by hu-mans, they can catch and release thousands of larvae trichina worms in your body.

Sometimes, we hear people quote Timothy about every creature is good. Hmm… let’s see. 1 Timothy 4:4: “For every creature is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving. It’s sanctified by a word of God in prayer.” What Paul is saying is that if these animals are sanctified or endorsed by God then we can receive it with thanksgiving and prayer, similar to saying grace.

Among the grain—Genesis 1:29: “And God said, “‘Behold. I have given you every herb bearing seed, and every tree in which is the fruit of the tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.’” The original diet was fruits, grains, nuts,

and legumes when man was eating from the tree of life and was intended to flourish through eternity because his body was going to live for-ever. But after sin when man was evicted from the Garden of Eden, he could no longer eat from the tree of life.

Evidently, there was something that the tree of life offered, and God was now going to supplement it with a substitute. He told man he could now eat vegetables. Genesis 3:18: “Thou shall eat the herb of the field.” The dif-ference between a fruit and a vegetable is the fruit is going to be the product of the blossom of the plant. If you eat the leaf or stalk or the root, it’s a vegetable. So if it’s not the product of the blossom and you’ve got the seeds which are the same as a nut, it is a vegetarian diet.

A solemn reminder is given to those who ignore God’s rules. 1 Corinthians 3:16-17: “Ye are the temple of God. If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy. Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought at a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” Galatians 6:7: “Be not deceived, God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

Deuteronomy 6:24: “And the Lord com-manded us to do all these statutes for our good always, that he might preserve us alive. It’s for our good that he gave us these things.” Exodus 23:25: “And you shall serve the Lord your God, and he will bless your bread, and your water, and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.”

Thank you so much for the tickets to the International Folk Fair. My husband, Steve, and I attended it at Vinoy Park on Sat, Oct. 28 and enjoyed a most delightful day visiting the booths of so many different countries, checking out their wares, and trying different foods. The cul-tural dances and parade were beautiful as well and we were touched by the ceremony to induct a number of people into American citizenship. Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy this event!!

ATTORNEY

Over 25 years ago, Mr. Olsen began his career as an insurance defense attorney and shortly thereafter decided that he preferred to serve the public’s interests rather than those of the insurance industry. He opened his practice, focusing on personal injury and workman’s compensation cases, in order to help people with their legal needs.

After a serious injury, a person may be inundated with medical bills. These circumstances can be overwhelming and clients need to know all of their options. How will medical bills get paid, in addition to their regular monthly bills, if they are unable to work? What are their legal rights if they are not at fault for the injury?

There are strict time limitations on personal injury cases. There-fore, they need answers right away. Evidence must be recovered be-fore it is lost and witnesses must be interviewed. Notices to insurance companies and municipalities must be filed in a timely manner.

With extensive experience handling cases in both federal and state courts, Mr. Olsen and his staff work strategically to help cli-ents declare their rights and receive compensation for their losses.

All personal injury cases are taken on a contingency fee basis. Clients do not pay a fee until the case is concluded by trial or settlement. If there is no recovery earned in the case, there is no obligation to pay fees or costs.

“Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal, to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”

— Philippians 3:13-14

An Act of Kindness: The Good SamaritanJesus answered, “A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell

among robbers, who both stripped him and beat him, and departed, leaving him half dead. By chance a certain priest was going down that way. When he saw him, he passed by on the other side. In the same way a Levite also, when he came to the place, and saw him, passed by on the other side. But a certain Samaritan, as he travelled, came where he was. When he saw him, he was moved with compassion, came to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. He set him on his own animal, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, and gave them to the host, and said to him, ‘Take care of him. Whatever you spend beyond that, I will repay you when I return.’ Now which of these three do you think seemed to be a neighbor to him who fell among the robbers?”

He said, “He who showed mercy on him.”Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.”
