Welcome to the Sandwich Fair! The Officers and Directors of the Sandwich Fair

Association would like to welcome you to the 2017 Sandwich Fair. Whether you are joining us for the first

time or if the fair has been a family tradition, we welcome you and sincerely hope that you enjoy your time

with us. If you are spending the day or if you plan to stay the entire weekend, we are certain that you

will find plenty to see and do.

We are very proud that the fair remains centered around our agricultural roots. Each day offers a number of animal

competitions and demonstrations. This year, we have added a 4-H Dog Show on Saturday and 4-H members

will be presenting Livestock Talks on Sunday and Monday. Watch for these talks in Show Ring 6 and learn about the

hard work and dedication these 4-H members put into their animals. Also new this year is Scott Norman,

a Professsor of Pumpkinology. He will be demonstrating the fine art of pumpkin carving in Show Ring 13

on Saturday and Sunday. These are interactive demonstrations that are fun for all ages.

Special events include the annual Antique Parade on Saturday and the Grand Street Parade on Sunday and every day will feature plenty of entertainment on the stage. Last year, after a one-year hiatus, the always-

popular Oxen Pulling returned on Monday with much success. We are looking forward to an even bigger

event this year with the addition of a Youth Division for Teamsters ages 13-16.

Whether you come for the animal competitions, the exhibits, the entertainment, the midway, the food or to renew old friendships, we hope that you enjoy yourself.
