the peace of nature, a break from the hustle and

bustle of the big city. Wake up to the sound of birds

sining, taking a freshly brewed coffee to the

boat/bath dock and eat your breakfast when the

morning sun streaks over the sea, hearing the sound

of the sea and waves. Holidays are time for

relaxation and about toghetherness. So why not

spend your vacation families together ‐ with friends ,

or or gather multi generation family. Our cabins on

Frebbenholm in Östhammar Bay offers a tranquil

holiday with space for both the togetherness and

serenity.

With familys placed into four different cabins, each

will have their own space to retreat, while the

thogeterness still is kept close. Swimming, fishing,

boating, walking and excursions, everything is close

at hand and provide the opportunity for everyone to

do what suits them best. Gather up for dinner in the

well placed glass gazebo and have a look over the

wonderful nature and the sea. Whatever you do,

after dinner, do not forget to take a walk to the

beach on the northwest side, and take one last swim

with the magnificent sunset over the Östhammar‐

Bay.

OUR CABINS ARE BUILTWITH DESIGN AND CAREFROM THE BEGINING TOTHE END

At Frebbenholm we have our four cottagesgrouped in a single plot. Built for togetherness andwell-beeing for both heart and soul. There is onemain building and three complementary buildings.In all buildings there are two proper beds, in oneguest house there is also a large sofa bed for twopersons, with an associated extra mattress for agreater sleeping comfort. Three of the fourbuildings got running water inside. Two showerswith warm and cold water is available, one islocated in the main building next to the bedroomand the other one is a well secluded outdoorshower placed next to the other buildings. In oneof the complementary buildings there is also abathroom with separate entrance, containingbathtub with an separate water heater and alsowith a small washing machine. The island has nosewage system whereby the toilets must beadapted for this, we have solved this with onecomposting toilet and one combustion toilet, bothvery easy to use. The combustion toilet is locatedin the main building, and composting toilet in oneof the other cottages with a separate entrancefrom outside which makes it is simple to use fromall three complementary buildings. The mainbuilding has a fully equipped kitchen. Next to theother cabins there is an outdoor kitchen forpreparation and dishwashing in the connectionwith the gas grill that also has steak table. Onecottage has also a kitchenette with a small fridge,as well as microwave oven and a sink.

Smoking is prohibited in all buildings.

Highseason starts week number 25 and ends week number 35. Rental is normaly sunday ‐

sunday. During offseason you can also rent a half week,Sun‐Thu /Thu‐Sun. The price for

half‐week offseason is 5200 SEK.

Extra beds for > 10 persons are charged with an extra fee : 500 SEK /week/person.

If you want us to provide bedlinnen/towels the price is 120 SEK/week/person.

We can also provide two sea kayaks during your stay for an extra fee of 800SEK/week/each

THE STORY OF THEPEARL IN THE BAY

Frebbenholm consists of about 15 hectares divided in an agricultural

property on 3 acres (Börstils‐Lanso 1: 8), 28 pc salvaged plots, each of

more than 2000 square meters and green space consisting forest,

simple walkways, 4 bay areas, and a swiming area. It is currently no

agricultural activities being conducted at Frebbenholm. On the island's

northern tip lays which in ancient times was a customs house from

where one would have control of maritime traffic towards Östhammar.

Most homes are well into the shoreline, nicely embedded in the

archipelago of greenery. The boat docks individual construction

suggest ancient coastal properties and leisure residents' struggle

against waves of sea traffic, flows and ices depredations. The

dominant estate of Frebbenholm is the tribalproperty situated in the

middle of the island towards länsösundet. The original two‐storey

building is now replaced towards a more modern one storey house, and

next to the house is a houses painted red, a brewhouse. In the

background there is also a barn with a whith room for cattle. In front

of the main building and down towards länsösundet there is a slope

then an open lawn down to a red‐painted boathouse. South of the

main building is a large meadow framed by stone walls. Frebbenholms

southern part is a bay facing Lansö. The southern part is called

Ratudden and differ Frebbenholm from Lansö. The Strait Nordankrok

is shwallow. After Nordankrok, between Frebbenholm and Lansö, there

is a big shwallow with great birdlife. If you continue towards

Kullasundet, which separates Frebbenholm against Söderön you will

after a while come to Tuskötäppan. North of Kullasundet you will find

Korskäret. A bridge has been built to unite Frebbenholm with Lansö,

and at the same time made it easier for Frebbenholm islanders to get

over to Frebbenholm during the winter when ice is not yet carry, but

still prevent boats to go thru. During summer the bridge constitutes a

link to an extended walking path around the island of Lansö.

Bokning & Payment

Payment can be done with bank transaction or , thru

PayPal. At fisrt you pay a deposit which also confirms your

booking. The whole rental should be paid in advance and

must be at our bank account/paypal no later than 7 days

before rental period. Deposit is payed back to you 7 days

after rental period at the latest.

Contract

If you express interest on rental, a established rental

contact will be provided. Please read the contract and

send it back signed, also pay the deposit. The contract

will returned and signed by us. A booking confirmation

will be sent to you as soon the deposit is received.

Termination of contract

A termination fee of 1500 SEK will be charged, if

termination is done after 4 weeks prior rental period,

between 4 weeks and 1 weeks prior the rental period the

termination fee will gradual rise to match the already

charged deposit. Termination of the contract within 7

days prior the rental perion, full payment will be charged.

Arrival

At arrival, we will meet you at the carparking and we eill

show you to the boat, and also show you how to handle the

boat. After that, we go by boat ver to Frebbenholm, and

we will show you where / how to get there ( aprox 5 min

ride). On Frebbenholm we will show you around the cabins

and then we will go back to the mainland by boat and

thereafter the cottage and boat is left over completely in

your service.

Departure

At departure the cabins should be properly cleaned. Dishes

should be washed, floor should be vaccumed wet dried ,

pillows and blankets should be shaken, refridgirator annd

freezer emptied and cleaned, If anything has been broken

this shold be told. We will meet you on the mainland and

check that everything has been good during your sta. Keys

will be returned.

Q: Can you go by car to the house?

A : No, the house is on an island without roads. You will be provided a bout

during your stay and the cost is included in the rental.

Q: Is blankets and twoels provided?

A: No, You should have your own blankets and towles, however, for an extra

fee we can provide you with this, please contact us in this case.

Q: We gor two cars. Is there possibly to rent more than one parking spot?

A: There are inly one parkng spot aligned to each house on the island. However

there are a some parkingspots for guests for guests, these cannot be booked, It

usaly isnt a problem with having two cars.

Fråga: Hur långt är det till närmaste affär?

Svar: Närmaste Livsmedelsaffär är inne i Östhammar. Du tar dig enklast dit via

bil, även om det går att åka båt till Östhammar också. Det tar c:a 15 minuter

att ta sig till affären, båtresa inräknad.

Q: Do we need license to be fishing?

A: You need fishing licens to be fishing from the boat. License can be bougt in

Östhammar, However fishing standing from costline is free, and accutaly we

caught most of our fish from there.

Q:: Is it ok to use the boat for excursion.A: Its ok, beware its on your own risk, There are lots of stones and reefs just

beneath the sea surface hard to see. Repair of a propeller can cost thousads ofSEK, We will show you the proper way to go from the island to the main land.

If you want to go elseware. Follow the sea map thas provided, but it willalways on yur own risk, A better way for excurion would be to hire our two

kayaks

Q: Are there neighbour´s close to the house?

A: The cottage is individually placed without direct vision. However, there are

three cottages within the radius of 100m. Keep in mind that you are guests on

the island and that neighbors must be respected and not to be disturbed by

your presence.
