With deep roots in Indiana basketball, Frank Landrey learned at very young age the dedication and work ethic are needed to succeed in life. It was during his time with the Georgia Tech basketball team, Frank faced one of his greatest challenges in life. Through adversities, he persevered to become the president of a highly successful barbecue company. After selling the company in the late nineties, Frank went on to become the golf coach at Liberty University where he enjoyed twelve wonderful seasons. Frank used his life’s experiences to teach the young men he coached how to become winners on the course and in life. He has lived with his wife Carol in Lynchburg for 36 years. His four beautiful daughters have blessed him with sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Since his “retirement”, Frank has authored several books and started “5 th Sat Craft Fairs” a local community outreach program.
