Knowledge transfer / Projects with the Industry• Resolution of an inventory problem associated with the replenishment of ATM machines. This

Project was executed together with Professor Isabel Correia (New University of Lisbon) and theCompany Widescope (www.widescope.pt) for the Company SIBS (Sociedade Interbancária deServiços). Currently, 2000 ATM machines in Portugal are managed using the system build inthis Project.

• Project scheduling problem for the construction of a resting house. The Project was developedbetween October 2010 and September 2011 in the scope of a Master Thesis for the CompanyEngenharia e Empreendimentos, Lda. The budget established for this construction Project was7.000.000 Euros.
