Upon arrival, board your private motor coach and transfer to Aix-en-Provence. Upon arrival at Collège Privé du Sacré Cœur, meet your exchange partners and start your exchange program. While living with a host family, you will find out that French is more than a textbook lan- guage. You will eat French food, meet French people and have an excellent opportunity to practice your French in real-life situations. On Sunday, spend the day with your pen pals and get to know them and their families. DAY 4 - 6: EXCHANGE PROGRAM (Monday to Wednesday) This week, attend school with your pen pals. Continue on to Nimes after some free time for lunch. This afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of the amphitheatre, one of the best preserved from the Roman world. Have some free time to explore the city at your own pace before returning to Aix-en-Pro- vence. Dinner and night accommodation with your host families. DAY 11: AIX EN PROVENCE / MARSEILLE / CASSIS (Monday)

• Today, meet your Forum Tour Manager and board your private coach to Marseille.• Visit Notre-Dame de la Garde, a Neo-Byzantine church situated at the highest natural

point in Marseille, a 162 m (532 ft) limestone outcrop on the south side of the Old Port.• Later, visit the Château d’If, a fortress located on the island of If, famous for being one

of the settings of Alexandre Dumas’ adventure novel: The Count of Monte Cristo.• After lunch with your group in a local restaurant, continue to Cassis. • En route, take a look at Le Cap Canaille, one of the highest sea cliffs in Europe with its

399 meters above sea level.• Upon arrival, it’s beach time! Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure and relax at the beach.• Return to your host families for dinner and night accommodation.

DAY 12: EXCHANGE PROGRAM (Tuesday)

• Today, attend school with your pen pals. Activities and workshops may be organized at the school during your visit (to be confirmed with the French school).

• Enjoy the afternoon with your exchange partner and their families.

DAY 13: AIX EN PROVENCE / PARIS (Wednesday)

• Today, say Au Revoir to your host family and head to the train station. • Catch the TGV high-speed train to Paris.• Transfer by private motor coach to your hotel, check in, unpack and freshen up.• This afternoon, admire the view from the 3rd floor of the Eiffel Tower on Le-Champs-

de-Mars Square. • Next, board a glass-topped Bateau Mouche and enjoy a refreshing cruise on the Seine.• Dinner with your group in a local restaurant.

DAY 14: PARIS (Thursday)

• After breakfast at your hotel, discover Philippe Auguste’s Louvre and see the galleries’ masterpieces, such as the breathtaking Mona Lisa.

• After some free time for lunch, visit the gothic Cathédrale Notre-Dame, a magnificent religious edifice and one of the supreme masterpieces of French art.

• At a short distance away, enter the Sainte Chapelle, a masterpiece of the High Gothic.• Before dinner, have the benefit of a guided tour of the Paris opera house “Palais Gar-

nier”• Enjoy dinner in the always-lively Quartier Latin!

DAY 15: PARIS (Friday)

• This morning, visit the magnificent Musée d’Orsay and its extensive collections of 19th and 20th century paintings, sculptures, architecture and literature.

• Climb to the top of the Arc de Triomphe & visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.• After some free time for lunch, stroll on the famous Champs-Elysées.• Later in the afternoon head up to the highest point in Paris, Montmartre. Climb the

steps to reach the Sacré-Cœur, Montmartre’s hilltop church and most famous landmark.• Enjoy a farewell dinner and a music show at La Bonne Franquette.

DAY 16: DEPART (Saturday)

• After breakfast at your hotel, board your motor coach to the airport for your return to the USA.
