Le Passé Composé
The passé composé is used to express ______________ in French.
The passé composé in French is a ______________ tense, which means that it has

Le Passé Composé au Négatif

IRREGULAR PAST PARTICIPLES
Most verbs have _______________ past participles (meaning that -er verbs end
in ________, - ir verbs end in _______ and - re verbs end in ________).
However, there are many verbs that have __________________ past participles
which do not fit this pattern. Unfortunately, the only way to learn these is to

Ne ... personne, Ne... rien Quelqu’un = __________________ Quelque chose = ___________________ **These words CANNOT be used in a negative sentence. Instead, use the terms given below. Ne ... personne = __________ Ne... rien = _____________________ **These words act just like ne...pas, but they carry a different meaning with the different ending. To be used as the subject of a sentence, quelqu’un and quelque chose use the same verb conjugation as _______________. You can use personne and rien as the subject of a sentence also.
