BIG TEX TRAILERS 14LX AND 14LP EXPLORING THE DIFFERENCES The 14LX and the 14LP are two of Big Tex’s most popular dump trailers. But there are good reasons your customers might pick one or the other, so let’s explore the differences between these two great trailers. 14LX VS 14LP The Common Features • 2 and 5/16 cast coupler with an adjustable channel • Mounted to the tongue, is a fully enclosed tool box with a lock to safely secure the hydraulic pump, wired remote, and the included interstate battery and the 110 charger. • Rolled tarps are standard with welded J hooks along the side as well as stake pockets The Differences There are 6 specific components that are different between the LX and the LP.
