Historic

Soufan Engineering has been providing logistical supplies and equipment for over two decades to the commercial and military sector in Sierra Leone. We were also the main supplier for the British forces in 2000 when they intervened in the civil war under codename Operation Palliser. Following excellent performance from our side, we had built great trust and relationship with the British henceforth they recommended we establish in Kabul, Afghanistan to support their joint forces operations.

Recent

Soufan Engineering’s involvement in South of Sudan (Juba) has been in support of the US Department of State Prime and Sub-contractors in their effort to support and transform the SPLA Military into a functioning defensive Army for over 2 years.

Soufan Engineering has supported sister company The New Millennium since their start in Southern Sudan in all capacities, logistics, manpower, supplies and construction. In addition, Soufan Engineering has extended a range of materials, supplies and services vital in any Military's daily Base operations. In particular crucial support has been shown with associated supplies including Body Armor, military gear and apparel, generators, heavy equipment, barracks and ablution units. We have successfully completed a vast amount of contracts in Juba with our sister company The New Millennium Group.

The LGS (Light Gauge Steel) Building System is a complete, turn-key framing shell package. A wide variety of choices for materials and products gives you the most economical and practical solution in the market today. From the slab and up, our system begins with design & engineering of the building stability package (i.e. shear walls). Our highly experienced team is involved throughout all phases of construction. We pre-manufacture wall panels that can be hoisted into place and screwed together. A variety of floor systems can be used based on the building's requirements for sound transmission class (STC) and impact isolation class (IIC). We then top off the building with pre-engineered roof trusses and metal sheathing to ensure non-combustibility. This system, from the slab up, offers you the best in structural simplicity to provide a stronger, lighter solution that is built to last and the fastest most economical building method.

Light Gauge Steel Building System

We can install pre-engineered, factory-built, trusses and sheathing that are a 100% non-combustible,

"Green" solution.

Sheet steel or moment-framed shear walls are introduced into the framing to meet seismic, wind and building stability requirements.

For a floor solution with better sound and fire performance, consisting of a 2.5" concrete pour over an 8" metal long-span decking, can be installed quickly and economically.

For a floor solution that is a lighter and more economical, we can integrate joists.

A wide variety of light-gauge steel framing can be used to panelize load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls both on and off-site, depending on jobsite requirements.

Pre-frabricated exterior panels can be sheathed as well to speed the erection process and eliminate the need for scaffolding on-site.

Because light-gauge steel has the strongest strength-to-weight ratio, it is by far the right choice to reduce foundation requirements saving you money and time!

Features of our K-Span Machines

All the rollers are forged from the high quality structural steel and are processed intensely. The surfaces of the rollers are plated with hard chromium. The rollers have a high hardness and long operating life. 2. The power set to automatically transport the colored steel sheet is equipped in the forming press section, which can press the colored steel sheet with the thickness of 0.5~1.5mm. It is not needed to frequently adjust the clearance between the pressing rolls when pressing the sheet with different thickness, which can make the sheet come out from machine normally without scuffing of the coating film of the sheet. Being just like a “foolproof camera”, the operation of the machine is very simple. But the quality of the finished product can be guaranteed. The length of the finished sheet is measured by the electronic measurement instrument or mechanical measurement instrument. The helping hand wheel and the counter are used in the adjustment of the bending of arch sheet, which makes the operation simple and guarantees the quality and the dimensional precision. The hoisting tool is light and handy (The weight of hoisting tool of the United States is 30KG. And the weight of hoisting tool of our company is 2KG). It is convenient to install and uninstall the hoisting tool. Its hoisting speed is quick. The joining type of the roof is self-lock, which makes it easy to install and safe with excellent water proof and storm resistance. The curving roof can directly be produced on worksite, effectively lowering the cost.

The armouring is integrated inside the vehicle’s cab and forms a complete self-supporting structure so as to avoid excessive stress on the vehicle’s original structure. The interior armour-frame provides overlap for the large-surface armour components such as the door armour-plates and the windows.Hinge mounting points are reinforced both in the pillars and in the doors in a way that the armouring of the door is supported by the armouring of the pillar.Heavy-duty hinges with in-built door-stop.Fuel-tank(s) protected with steel armour-plates.The battery and control module of the engine are protected to the same level as the opaque areas.

Overview:

Tygra - The Ultimate Light Armored Personnel Carrier. Unique and one of its kind. Designed and Built-in own Vehicle Lab. Tygra is our quintessential creation. The military units and their artillery support can easily equip Tygrawith multi-purpose weapon systems. Remotely controlled weapon modules are great options, typical examples are 7.62 mm and 12.7 mm machine guns. Highly recommended for Cross-Country Patrol, Border Security, and Personnel Movement Situations. Installation of active and passive protection units on the vehicle is relatively easy. On the other hand, peace support missions can also benefit from the incredible armoring of Tygra in conflict zones, especially in Africa and Middle-east.

Based on the Toyota Land Cruiser 70-series Chassis, Tygra keeps heavily dressed troops from overheating in high temperatures of deserts by using dual air-conditioners with the ceramic coating (developed by NASA) that acts as a lightweight thermal barrier. It possesses superior insulation qualities for hot and cold environments and far surpasses old fashioned and conventional insulating materials. Tygra provides ample room for a driver, commander and up to 6 crew members. And there is enough room for tactical gear too. Tygra comes in various body configurations and provides protection against assault rifles in levels almost similar to BR6.We are using light-weighted high strength armor plating for all four sides of the passenger compartments and for the roof of the vehicle and it can prevail against military grade threats. All opaque areas including the roof offer protection against weapons / ammunitions.

The floor system provides protection against small IEDs and hand-grenades. The V-Hull design mitigates against blasts and it can prevail even against military grade threats. Moreover, the floor offers protection against small anti-personnel mines too. All transparent areas have multi-layered polycarbonate coating and can withstand against weapons / ammunitions too.Bullet resistant glass is 39 mm in thickness and it stays rigid in the steel frame. This helps in preventing water ingress using advanced sealing agents and forms.Tygra provides immense protection against military grade threats while offering tremendous comfort for its occupants, unlike any other vehicle in its league. Engineers of Mezcal Security Vehicles produced a magnificent vehicle with the affordable intentions to offer the finest security solutions convenient to our customers.Complete Mission Systems and Integration Packages are available upon request. Armored Turret options are available as an add-on option too. 360° Traversing turrets can be modified to meet the client's specific requirements. NATO / MIL Based Colors are available for Tygra. Additional Custom modifications are also possible. Contact us to Learn more.
