COLPHENE BSW is a fully reinforced Pre-Applied system membrane designed for horizontal and vertical external blind-side waterproofing applications. The system is composed of a select blend of high performance SBS modified bitumen combined with an ultra high strength reinforcement and a specially formulated top surface.

Colphene BSW is applied directly to the prepared substrate or form workbefore structural concrete is poured.

TOP FACE is coated with specially treated silica sand.

UNDERFACE is self-adhesive protected with a silicone release film.

COMPLEMENTARY PRODUCT

ALSAN FLASHING WITH FLEECE ALSAN Flashing is a proprietary polyurethane bituminous resin specifically formulated for high performance liquid-applied flashings, other details and maintenance applications.

SOPRADRAIN 10-G / 15-G SOPRADRAIN 10-G / 15-G is a high density drainage board composed of a polypropylene core on which a geotextile is factory laminated. The board is installed for the drainage of vertical below grade walls.

The system is to provide a full and continuous bond of the membrane to the poured structural concrete to waterproof and protect the sub-structure envelope from the blindside. This will eliminate the potential of water penetration and leakage.

TECHNOLOGY

The top face of the membrane is SBS modified bitumen covered with sand. The specially formulated surface softens slightly as the concrete starts to cure, releasing heat. This promotes adherence of the membrane to the concrete, and prevents the ingress or migration of water around the structure.

RESISTANCE TO HYDROSTATIC HEADCOLPHENE BSW can be used in application where high hydrostatic pressure is present. Membranes have been designed to withstand up to 114 m, where other conventional waterproofing become vulnerable.

COLPHENE BSW have been proven to resist water migration in such conditions.

UV stabilized 60 days exposure to UV will not affect performance of waterproofing system.

High mechanical properties to withstand traffic, puncture and exterior elements.

DURABILITY

Penetrations through slabs and walls represent a high risk area for water penetration and leakage. At these points, it is crucial to ensure an effective continuous seal between the membrane and the penetration. ALSAN FLASHING single component, polyurethane, bitumen liquid is a UV resistant waterproofing membrane recommended for this application. This is an essential component of the system to ensure complete, continous seal of substructure envelope.

COLPHENE 3000 is a self-adhesive waterproofing membrane composed of SBS modified bitumen and a tri-laminated woven polyethylene facer. The self-adhesive

underface is protected by a silicone release film. The COLPHENE 3000 membrane is used to ensure the waterproofing of foundation walls and other below grade vertical walls.

COMPLEMENTARY PRODUCT

ELASTOCOL STICK ELASTOCOL STICK is a primer designed to enhance the adhesion of self-adhesive membranes on porous surfaces. It is composed of SBS synthetic rubbers, adhesion-enhancing resins and volatile solvents. It is used as a primer on surfaces such as concrete, metal, and wood.

SOPRAMASTIC ALU SOPRAMASTIC ALU is an aluminum-coloured mastic composed of SBS modified, fibres and solvents. It is used as a complement to bituminous waterproofing membranes as joint filler and caulking material. It is compatible with bitumen-based materials and has excellent waterproofing properties.SOPRAMASTIC ALU contains a leafing aluminum pigmentation which provides superior protection against ultraviolet rays throughout the service life of the product. It is formulated with a high content of polymers, which gives it superior resistance to flow at high temperature.

Here is a completed waterproofing project.

Use SOPRAMASTIC to seal details and critical areas.The use of a protection or drainage board is recommended before backfilling to ensure the integrity of the waterproofing membrane.

Peel back the top part of the silicone release film. Adhere COLPHENE 3000 to the substrate, making sure the membrane is well aligned.

Prime the substrate with ELASTOCOL STICK, ELASTOCOL STICK ZERO or ELASTOCOL STICK H2O.

Gradually peel back the remaining silicone release film, making sure the membrane is completely adhered.The use of a hand roller is required to remove air pockets.
