Car interior technologyYou could argue that the most important part of a car is the interior, after all it’s where the driver and passengers spend most of their time! With that in mind, we know that the automotive industry wants to design and produce not only functional and durable interior trim components such as audio system displays, instrument clusters and controls, but also want vehicle interiors to have a fashionable and stylish look that meets manufacturers’ specifications. With our formable hard coated film ‘XtraForm’ and our latest innovative range of formable texturing lacquers ‘Fototex 3D’ we can help create outstanding and unique interior designs.

Fototex 3D, expanding design capabilitiesFototex 3D has been specifically formulated to enhance and expand design capabilities that have not been possible before. It has been developed to combine textures and gloss finishes on all interior automotive parts produced using the Film Insert Moulding (FIM) Process.

Fototex 3D is a range of texturing lacquers formulated to be screen printed onto XtraForm, the market leading film for Film Insert Moulding, as well as a wide range of other substrates.

The lacquers are intermixable allowing an infinite range of bespoke finishes to be produced. Fototex 3D also allows a design to now incorporate different blocks of textures on a part or can be used to create detailed fine line designs or text.

Fototex 3D uses a hybrid cure technology (solvent & UV) that creates an incredibly hard, abrasion and solvent resistant finish that meets the latest OEM specifications.
