Giclée Printing

Giclée is the process of making fine art prints from a digital source using ink-jet printing, with the specific translation of Giclée being French for ‘spray’.

Fotogalrio partners with printers that use professional fade resistant inks and a range of high quality papers resulting in beautiful, fully archival prints with incredibly fine detail.

Photographic C-type Printing

Photographic C-type prints are made by exposing light onto colour paper, which is then developed and washed

using traditional photographic techniques. Exposed by a high resolution digital printer, this process offers the quality and archival properties of a photographic print with the creativity and consistency that can only be achieved from a digital process.

This is a colour process, therefore black & white imag-es can print with a slight warmth or coolness, and therefore we would recommend printing black & white images through the Giclee process.

Canvas Print

Leonardo Canvas has a surface which is water re-sistant, hard-wearing which does not require varnishing after printing and guarantees archival standards. With its fine, smooth structure, Leonardo Canvas is perfectly suitable for both art prints and photography.

Print behind Perspex

Images can printed in high quality behind 4 mm thick glossy Perspex. The colours stay bright as the white ink is also printed which brings the images to life and gives it the quality appearance.

Perspex type

The images are printed behind 4 mm-thick PETG, a durable plastic with extremely good optical characteris-tics. The PETG is printed on the back in mirror image so that the image on the viewing side is covered by a thick, glossy layer of plastic.

Mounting options

Spacers It is possible to order the sheets with four predrilled holes accompanied by chromed spacers. The spacers have a diameter of 10 mm and hold the print in suspen-sion 12 mm in front of the wall for a striking presenta-tion.

Invisible mounts

Select the option ‘invisible mounts’ and a 1 mm thick sheet of polyplate and an aluminium suspension frame is fixed to the back of the print so that it is suspended just in front of the wall. This mount is practically invisi-ble when the print hangs on the wall and gives the print a professional interior design look. Print on Forex Plastic

Direct print on thick white high quality Forex Plastic for a minimalist modern interior, where there is always a place for the new 'image canvas', an image printed on 1 cm thick white forex.

Without frames, you can now suspend the image in front of a wall with the aid of spacers or an invisible mounting system. Or if you prefer a frame, it is easy to add one later without glass to prevent any possibility of distracting reflections.

Print your images in high quality on strong aluminium sheets. The optional chrome spacers complete the print, with them your image on aluminium will look like it "hovers" over the wall.

Image Wall paper / Wall Mural

Images printed to size to cover a specific wall. To en-sure that the image will fill the width and height of your wall, it is recommend ordering at least 3 cm extra in width and height so to be sure there is enough paper to cut-in and to account for irregularities in the wall.

The images are printed on non-woven wallpaper (150gsm). Non-woven wallpaper is strong, tear-resistant and can be lightly washed with a soft rag. The strips of the wallpaper are 47.5 cm wide and are there-fore much easier to hang than the much wider strips. The number of strips is unlimited.

Hanging Image Wallpaper

A Wallpaper table is not required because the adhesive can be spread on the wall. Non-woven wallpaper does not shrink – by hanging the strips adjacent to each oth-er, a magnificent image is created on the wall. Paper can be hung with regular wallpaper paste.
