Coco Alcuaz is business news head at ABS-CBN News Channel and anchor of Business News Nightly. From 2000 to 2011, he re-ported for Bloomberg News, mostly as Manila bureau chief. Before that, he was a segment producer, reporter and anchor with various ABS-CBN units, including stints in the Stock Market Live program.
Roberto F. Batungbacal is the Philippine Country Manager of The Dow Chemical Company. He is concurrently the Asia Pacific Commercial Excellence Leader for Dow’s Performance Materials Division. He is also the Country Manager for Dow’s subsidiary Rohm & Haas Philippines. He is the President and Director of the Samahan sa Pilipinas ng mga Industriyang Kimika (SPIK) also known as the Chemical Industry Association of the Philippines, and the Chairman of the Manufacturing Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce.

Feliciano Belmonte Jr. is the Speaker of the House of Representatives, representing the 4th District of Quezon City. Belmonte served as Mayor of Quezon City for nine years, during which he was awarded as the Most Outstanding Mayor of the Philippines by the Local Government Leadership Awards. Prior to serving Quezon City, President Corazon Aquino appointed him President and General Manager of the Government Service and Insurance System (GSIS), the Manila Hotel, and subsequently, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Philippine Airlines. He also represented the government as Member of the Board of Directors of the San Miguel Corporation (SMC), and the Philippine Long Distance and Telecommunications Company (PLDT).

Meneleo J. Carlos advocates quality policies that he had instituted for his company, RI Chemical Corporation. Mr. Carlos continues to be visible in the various campaigns of the Department of Science and Technology. As the Co-Chairperson of the National Competitiveness Council Working Committee on Transport and Logistics, Mr. Carlos actively advocates for better infrastructure polices and the development of an intermodal and seamless transport in infrastructure system in the country to reduce transport and/or travel costs. Along with these functions, he has continued to lead and assist non-government and private organizations, with the goal of helping the disadvantaged people of our society. He has devoted much time as the National Chairperson of the Bishops-Businessmen’s Conference for the business sector, while serving as head of its Cluster on Labor and Employment.

David Celdran is a veteran broadcast journalist with more than twenty years of experience as a television news manager, anchor, reporter and producer. He is currently the program host of ABS-CBN News Channel’s Executive Class and View from the Top. Mr. Celdran is also the Editor-in-Chief of ABS-CBN Publishing’s VAULT magazine. He is also the Chairperson of the Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism and a columnist for the Manila Bulletin.
Edward Eun-Gap Chang is the President of the Korean Chamber of Commerce Philippines, Inc. He is also the President and CEO of Asia Pacific Express Corporation. In addition, Mr. Chang is an advisor to the National Unification Advisory Council under the Office of the President-Republic of Korea. He is also an advisor and a consultant at the Korea-Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, Commercial Section of Korean Embassy to the Philippines. Mr. Chang received “A Proud Korean’s Medal the World Watches”, an International Management Leadership Medal sponsored by The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, The Ministry of Knowledge Economy and The Korean International Trade Association on July 17, 2008 in Korea.

Ray Cunningham joined Aboitiz Power Corporation as First Vice Pres-ident—Business Development in early 2009. He is responsible for ac-quisitions of existing generating plants and for developing new power generating projects. He has worked in the Philippines power sector for more than 14 years and is co-chair of the American Chamber’s Energy and Power Committee. Before Aboitiz Power, Mr. Cunningham spent 3 years as CalEnergy’s Business Development Manager, following 2 years as General Manager of its 165-MW Casecnan hydropower plant in Northern Luzon. He previously served nearly 6 years as Senior Vice President of San Roque Power Corporation and Project Director of the $1.2 billion, 345-MW San Roque Multipurpose Dam Project.
Aileen C. Clemente now serves as the Chairman of Rajah Travel Corporation. She has been part of the company since 2000. She is responsible for the overall operations of all Rajah Travel Corporation offices namely, Manila which is the head office, Makati Branch and the Implant Offices. Aside from that, she is also in charge of Rajah Travel’s office in San Francisco which also handles international operations. She is also a part of TwoEco Inc. – a tourism consultancy firm designed to provide professional assistance on conceptualization, drafting and implementation of various private and public tourism projects.

Roberto de Ocampo is the Co-Vice Chairman of the Makati Busi-ness Club and Chairman of the Board of Advisors for the RFO Center for Public Finance and Regional Economic Cooperation. He served as a Secretary of Finance of the Republic of the Philippines from 1994 to 1998 during the presidency of former President Fidel V. Ramos and an Alternate Governor of the International Monetary Fund. He is widely recognized for his innovations in development banking and for leading the DBP to be recognized by the Bankers Magazine as the world’s second soundest bank.

ROGER DIMMELFirst Vice President, Canadian Chamber of Commerce
Roger Dimmell was educated in Carlton University. He joined the Canadian Government in the early 1970’s where he spent 23 years working with the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). For the past 25 years, Mr. Dimmell has been active in the Philippines as a development practitioner having worked in various institutions including the CIDA, UNDP, the World Bank, and various projects funded by USAID. He also works with private sector companies in Mining and Agricultural Development as well as with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce where he serves as the chairman of the Natural Resource, Agricultural and Renewable Energy Committees. He currently works with Indigenous Peoples in Southern Mindanao in plantation agricultural and parallel small-holder development.

Rolando T. Dy is an international observer of international agriculture, agribusiness and rural development for 35 years now. He is a recognized expert in agribusiness strategy, agribusiness models, benchmarking, and project analysis. He spent six years overseas as agriculture project economist in an international institution where he spent time in Malaysia and Thailand. Upon his return to the Philippines, he joined the Center for Research and Communication (CRC), the forerunner of the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P). Dr. Dy is currently the Executive Director of the UA&P Center for Food and AgriBusiness. He is a senior lecturer of the UA&P’s Advanced Management Program and Strategic Business Economics Program. He was former Dean of the UA&P School of Management.
Gregory L. Domingo was appointed by President Benigno C. Aquino III as Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary on July 1, 2010. He once served as the DTI-Industry and Investments Group (IIG) Undersecretary and Board of Investments (BOI) Managing Head from May 2001-April 2004. He served as director to private companies, among them the SM Investments Corporation, BDO Private Bank, Belle Corporation, Pico de Loro Beach and Country Club, Pampanga Sugar Development Company (PASUDECO), Carmelray-JTCI Corp. (CJC), and MERALCO.

He currently serves as the managing director of Optel Ltd., an ICT consulting firm. He has also been an active member of several business groups. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Energy Committee and a Member of the Board of Directors of AmCham. He is also a Member of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Association of Multinational Companies Regional Headquarters Inc.
John D. Forbes is a private consultant working with the American Chamber of Commerce, where he has served as Director, Treasurer, Chairman of the Legislative Committee, Chairman of the Promoting English Proficiency Project and Senior Advisor for the Investment Climate Improvement Project. In addition, he is Senior Counselor of Vriens and Partners Pte. Ltd. of Singapore. He is the principal author of Arangkada Philippines 2010 and has also written two AmCham Roadmaps to More Foreign Investment in the Philippines. He writes and speaks frequently on business advocacy subjects.

Dr. Galvez Tan is a Professor of the University of the Philippines College of Medicine; and the President of Health Futures Foundation, Inc. He was Vice Chancellor for Research of the University of the Philippines Manila and Executive Director of the National Institutes of Health Philippines 2002-2005. He served as Regional Adviser in Health and Nutrition for East Asia and the Pacific Region of UNICEF in Bangkok in 1996. He served as Health Undersecretary from 1992-1994 and subsequently, Secretary in 1995. Dr. Galvez Tan is co-writer of six books: Our Health, Our Lives, Fruits & Vegetables with Medicinal Properties, The Health Curriculum in Philippine Basic Education, Community Managed Maternal and Newborn Care, Hilot: The Filipino Traditional Massage, Medicinal Fruits & Vegetables.
Eduardo V. Francisco is President of BDO Capital & Investment Corporation, the investment house of BDO Unibank, Inc. He is also the Co-Chairman of the Capital Market Development Council (CMDC) of the Philippines, Treasurer/Trading Nominee of BDO Securities Corp., President of First Valle Verde Association, and Treasurer of the Foundation for Filipino Entrepreneurs (FFE).Mr. Francisco also sits on the boards of Wharton-Penn Club of the Philippines, UP-Development Center for Finance, CIBI Foundation, and International School of Manila.

Mr. Hinchliffe is the Executive Director for AmCham Philippines. He arrived back in the Philippines after a 12 year absence that saw him working in Texas, Taiwan, Malaysia and Indonesia. He officially began his position with AmCham Philippines on December 1, 2012. A Texan, with a BS degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Ebb was based in the Philippines from 1993 – 2000. He has spent 22 of the last 25 years in Asia Pacific which includes 21 years with a US based pump manufacturing company, 6 years with a prominent semiconductor company and the last four years in the Service Industry.

Rhicke Jennings is managing director of Indonesia and the Philippines for FedEx Express, a position that he has assumed since August 2008. Based in the Philippines, Mr. Jennings is responsible for developing and executing the company’s corporate strategies and operations in these markets. Prior to this role, Mr. Jennings was also the managing director of Australasia, serving FedEx Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands, from June 2003 to December 2010. Mr. Jennings joined FedEx in 1991 and since then has held various positions in a number of countries, including the U.S., Singapore, Japan, Belgium, and Thailand. Under his leadership, FedEx was recognized as a best employer in Thailand in 2001 and, more recently, in New Zealand in 2007. Mr Jennings currently serves as president of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in the Philippines.

Ramon R. Jimenez, Jr. is the man behind the tagline “It’s more fun in the Philippines”. He has spent most of his professional career as a writer, creative director, or executive for the country’s top advertising agencies. He also has been in the field of marketing communications for 35 years, and is considered one of the pillars of Philippine advertising. Before his appointment, he served as Joint Chief Executive Officer and Senior Consultant at WOO Consultants, sharing his expertise with a number of successful corporations. Secretary Jimenez has worked as a Journalism and Marketing Communications instructor in some of the country’s most renowned universities, and is a sought-after lecturer for many successful corporations such as the San Miguel Corporation and the Jollibee Group.

Heidi Mendoza is currently a commissioner in the Commission on Audit. Guillermo M. Luz is the Private Sector Co-Chairman of the National Competitiveness Council. He was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Ayala Foundation from December 2006 to May 2011, a foundation which manages projects in education, environment, entrepreneurship, arts and culture, and community development. He concurrently served as Director of Ayala Museum from January 2010 to May 2011. Mr. Luz was the Secretary-General of NAMFREL from 1992 to 2006, overseeing preparations for its Operation Quick Count and pollwatching in the 1992, 1995, 1998, 2001, and 2004 elections.

Sherisa Nuesa is the head of Judicial Reform Initiative., a private sector-initiated multi sectoral advocacy focused on achieving reforms in the judicial and prosecutorial arms of the government. Formerly, she served as a Managing Director of conglomerate Ayala Corporation for 37 years. Currently a Board Director of various Corporations and Foundations such as: ALFM Mutual Funds Group, Blackhorse Emerging Enterprises Fund (Singapore), Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD), the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX), and the ING Foundation (Phils). She is also a member of the multi-sectoral Integrity Initiative Steering Council.
