DONATE ONLINE NOW!
Many contributors no longer write checks
except to the church, so online giving is a
solution that allows them to give at their
convenience even if they are sick or on
vacation. You can set up and manage one-
time or recurring donations through our
website: www.stjosephcc.net. Click the
icon at the bottom of the homepage to
begin the registration process. The flexible payment options allow you to make pay-
ments directly from your checking/savings
account or you can use any major credit
card. If you have any questions, please
contact the Parish Office.
A New Year brings new blessings and
challenges. Please prayerfully include your
continued Weekly Contributions to our
parish home among your New Year Reso-
lutions. Your support remains essential to our ability to meet our current financial
challenge and operating expenses.
As we begin 2016 with grateful hearts for
all our blessings, let us prayerfully continue
to offer our contributions to honor God and
sustain our parish home -- our sacred place
where we gather together to Worship,
Study and Serve.
Many thanks for your generous response to
God and our parish.
May God bless you and yours abundantly
this New Year. Your St. Joseph Pastoral Council, Finance
Committee & Stewardship Committee

THE COLUMBIAN SQUIRES is open to
Catholic young men ages 10-18. The
Squires conduct programs to benefit the
Church and community as well as recrea-
tional and social activities. For information call or text Chief Squire Martin David at
(469) 233-7569 or Chief Counselor Kevin
Quinn at (214) 578-2662. Sunday, January
10—meeting at 1:30 p.m., Room 125PC
THE PEWS ARE COMING!
The new pews will be delivered in January.
The purchase of the pews was made possi-
ble by your generous donations to the “Our
Faith~Our Future” Bishop’s Capital Cam-
paign. As the pledge payments are made,
30% is distributed back to St. Joseph for its approved philanthropic purposes. Our dis-
tributions have already made it possible to
install the security doors in the classroom
wings and security cameras throughout the
building. The funds have also paid for some
skylight and roof repairs. This 30% is re-
stricted funds meaning it can only be used
for the specific items listed in our plan set
at the beginning of the Capital Campaign
and must go through a funds distribution
approval process before they are released. The purchase of the pews and these other
improvements would not otherwise be pos-
sible without the “Our Faith~Our Future”
campaign.

SHARED WISDOM
Msgr. Don Fischer
There is a deep hunger in the world for spiritual wisdom.
People no longer look solely to religion to find this wisdom.
One of the resources they go to is modern science.
In this workshop, Msgr. Don will build on the work of men like
Dr. William Tiller and explore the positive role that the new
discoveries in physics & medicine have on
our quest for wisdom.

ST. JOSEPH COLUMBARIUM
A few questions for thought. Where should I be buried? Will my
family know what to do when I die? When should these decisions
be made? Can Catholics be cremated? Taking time now to plan for
your burial can be a relief to you and your loved ones. A niche in our Columbarium
can provide that comforting answer. To
learn more about this option contact the Par-
ish Office at (972) 231-2951. A payment
plan is available to registered parishioners.

period of time or an extended duration. Contact the Parish Office to reach
