1. What is an NDF?

• Established by government in Localism Act 2011

• Has to conform with existing plans

• Is locally based

• If approved becomesan official planning document



2. Our neighbourhood



3. What has to happen?

• Finds local support

• Finds external support

• Discuss with LB Camden

• Write plan

• Consult on drafts

• Independent audit

• Referendum

• The interchange developments

• Preserving existing character of the rest of the area

6. What’s happened so far:

• January 2012 – the first meeting of interested people

• March 2012 – agreement of constitution & officers

• June/July 2012 – first major consultation

• October 2012 – submission for recognition of NDF

• Autumn/winter – work on initial drafts of the Plan
