Dear Parents, Carers and Families

Year 6 Farewell

We had a lovely day last Friday at the Year 6 farewell. Our Year 6 students went out to lunch and then came back to enjoy a disco with their friends.

Thank you to the parents who did a fantastic job of decorating for the disco.

Wednesday will be the Year 6 students last day of primary school. We will have a special leaving ceremony for them at 2.45pm tomorrow afternoon. Come along and help us wish them all the best for their future endeavours.

Reports

Student reports are being sent home today. Please check your child’s bag. If you require additional copies for family members please let us know.

Presentation Day

Thank you to everyone who came along to our presentation day last Thursday. It was wonderful to see so many families there to support their children and enjoy their items. Well done to all students for their excellent performances on the day.

Classes 2020

It is with great sadness that we say farewell to Miss Austin this week. Dale has been a valued member of our staff for the past few years. She is moving to Muswellbrook to join her partner and will be getting married in May. We wish Dale well in this new phase of her life and we will all miss her very much.

Next year we will have Mrs Cathy Dun on the K/1/2 class and we welcome Mr Simon Uwland to the 3-6 class.

Merry Christmas

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a safe and enjoyable holiday. School will resume for students on Wednesday 29th January 2020.

Please do not hesitate to call Taree Police or the School Security Unit on 1300880021 if you see any suspicious behaviour in the school grounds over the holiday period. There should be no one in the school grounds without permission from me.

The school recently purchased five new

keyboards and six new guitars for our music

room.

This was all made possible using the money

raised at the Colour Fun Run Fundraiser.
