Matt Harrington, former Aurora Aldermanic Candidate, is deep saddened by the untimely death of his youngest brother Luke Harrington.

Hospitals franticly search the internet after receiving information that Mr. Harrington was a political figure in Illinois. On July 3rd 2012 Matt Harrington was informed by the Aurora Police Rush hospital staff using Facebook and Linkedin to help track-down information to contact Matt Harrington.

Luke Harrington was found unresponsive after a fall at took place at Oak Parks Mills Tower a senior living apartment building where he worked a homecare provider for 2 elderly women. Luke Harrington received a major subdural hematoma, the excessive bleeding caused is brain to be pushed to the other side of his cranium. Luke had an emergency surgery to relive the pressure and stop the bleeding caused by this injury on July 3rd 2012 but was put on life-support after the surgery. On July 4th the family decided to discontinue the life support.

On July 5th at 7:21am Luke Harrington peacefully passed away in the ICU of Chicago Rush Hospital. The Chicago Police and Oak Park Police departments have opened an investigation regarding Luke Harrington’s death an autopsy will be performed by the Cook County Medical Examiners within the next few days to determine if any foul play took place in his death.
