. . . how we think or feel about something, someone or OURSELVES

Attitude in context
• Skills are our capabilities e.g. leadership, coaching, project management
• Knowledge is what we know e.g. facts, memory of how to do something
• Competency is the combination of knowledge, skills and attitude that results in a specific behaviour

New hires fail because
• 26% - they can’t accept feedback
• 23% - they’re unable to understand and manage emotions,
• 17% - they lack the necessary motivation to excel,
• 15% - they have the wrong temperament for the job
• ONLY 11% - they lack the necessary technical skills.
