FORECYTE Asset Condition Monitoring Platform Nidec’s standalone remote condition monitoring platform solution enables monitoring, collecting, visualization and analysis of vibration and temperature data to determine equipment health. This allows asset owners to transition from reactive/ preventive maintenance over to predictive maintenance. Defining the ideal time and scope of such maintenance minimizes unexpected equipment failure, reduces operating costs, and extends service life. The battery powered wireless sensor measures asset vibration and temperature. It sends AES128-bit encrypted data to the gateway using an IEEE 802.15.4 based 2.4GHz communication protocol. From the gateway data is sent either through Ethernet, WiFi or cellular to the cloud via MQTT. In the cloud the data gets aggregated, stored, analyzed and visualized using an intuitive, user friendly web interface. Asset Condition Monitoring Platform

Nidec’s standalone remote condition monitoring platform solution enables monitoring, collecting, visualization and analysis of vibration and temperature data to determine equipment health. This allows asset owners to transition from reactive/

preventive maintenance over to predictive maintenance. Defining the ideal time and scope of such maintenance minimizes unexpected equipment failure, reduces operating costs, and extends service life.

The battery powered wirelesssensor measures asset vibration andtemperature. It sends AES128-bitencrypted data to the gateway usingan IEEE 802.15.4 based 2.4GHzcommunication protocol. From thegateway data is sent either throughEthernet, WiFi or cellular to the cloudvia MQTT. In the cloud the data getsaggregated, stored, analyzed andvisualized using an intuitive, user friendlyweb interface. Data can be accessedat anytime from anywhere using abrowser on a web-enabled device.
