The weekend of February 15-16, the JGAA held its annual Phoenix Metro Junior Championship at Dobson Ranch G.C., Ken McDonald G.C., and Bear Creek G.C. Sponsor of the event this year, Van's Golf Shops, was generous enough to provide the entire field with lunch after the first round, a sleeve of golf balls, and a $10 gift card. In addition, Van's Golf Shops also provided $150 and $100 gift certificates towards a pair of FootJoy golf shoes to the champions and 2nd place finishers in each division, respectively. With almost 200 juniors participating in the field that weekend, this required the much needed help of the JGAA's many dedicated volunteers. We would like to give a huge thanks to the volunteers who continue to support our organization along with the event's sponsor, Van's Golf Shops. None of what we do would be possible without their support.
