Remove main mirror. Tilt mirror all the way up and slightly out. There is small openings in the bottom of
the mirror backing plate. Slid a long thin flat screw driver through the opening to separate.

Remove convex mirror by pulling at the outer edge should just pop right off .If heated , remove
connector

Remove convex mirror mount. It is held on with one screw in the center

Remove top half trim, depress the two tabs at top of mirror housing.

Remove 5 7mm screws and separate front and back halves of mirror body
3 are located behind the convex and 2 behind main mirror

Manually fold mirror forward. Release the locking tabs on strait portion of plastic arm covers 2 on top
and 2 on bottom then release 2 more at the pivot 1 on top and 1 on bottom . Now you can remove the
front arm trim covers. Repeat for lower arm.

Now fold mirror forward to access rear arm cover. Release 2 tabs at pivot and remove rear trim cover
Then return mirror to standard 90 degree position. And Extend power mirrors
Remove speaker from door. Just pull firmly and unplug

Firmly pull upon arm rest, window and lock controller and unplug.

There are 4 7mm screws that hold the door panel on. 2 under the rectangle cover situated below the
arm rest it just pops off with a small screw driver and 2 at the bottom of the door panel. Lift straight up
and remove door panel.

Remove the speaker wire mounting tab and gently remove.
Pull back the plastic enough to access the gray mirror electrical connector and disconnect.

You will need a second person with this part.
There are 4 -- 7/16 nuts. 2 behind the black tape and 2 behind rubber plugs. Gently pull the mirror and
wiring from the door. Be careful not to let the mirror body separate the mirror arms until you can make
it to the workbench.

Release the three plastic tabs and slide plastic trim cover toward mirror body

Remove 5 7mm screws and cover of upper arm, remove it enough to remove the last arm cover and pull
straight up and unplug motor and remove the last plastic trim cover . Repeat for lower arm

Remove plastic mirror telescope track .

Place arm in a vise or something similar to compress spring and drive out round pin. Remove from vise
and remove 6 #20 torx screws, 3 on each side. Note orientation of the 3 springs for reassembly.

Now bend top and bottom of metal arm to allow the drive motor and oblong steel pin to be removed
with motor assembly .

Use blade screw driver to pry the 3 springs off the motor assembly. Pay attention to the order in which
you removed.

Remove 4 #20 torx screws from motor case, remove gears and motor. Clean out old grease and inspect
gears for wear. Note there are small metal washers on either end of the main shaft gear. Remove and
replace main gear and motor with GruvenParts.com metal main gear and high torque motor.
Installation is reverse of removal.

Remove motor cover sleeve by just sliding it towards the gear and reinstall it on the new mirror
