Coming up with the first lesson for a new ProStitcher customer can be confusing. Where do you start and what do you cover? Kay has designed this class with that in mind. She will identify and explain the menu and panel buttons, the work area, toolbar buttons and the crosshairs. Then it’s onto the Design Menu and working with a design. You will learn basic design placement and editing. Lastly, Kay will a explain how to use the ProStitcher Instruction and Reference Guide as a lesson planner.

Lora has developed a demonstration that highlights the new and existing features of the Tiara III and covers who the ideal customer is for this product. Specialty Rulers and the TiaraPresented by Linda Hall, quilt designer, teacher and author

Linda Hall designed The Creative Motion Quilting Design System with the quilter in mind, to make free-motion quilting faster and easier for both the novice and advanced quilter. In this hands-on class, you will learn how to create basic shapes using the ruler system, Tiara and TruStitch. After mastering basic shapes, the final step is to combine those shapes creating a quilt design that can be displayed next to your Tiara. The Creative Side of the Tiara – Thread Painting & EmbellishmentPresented by Debbie Martinez, Baby Lock Education Consultant

The Tiara is the ideal machine for both the quilter and the artist. The quilter approaches the machine to finish their quilt by adding the final phase, stitching. The artist approaches the machine as an artist approaches a blank canvas. The image is created using thread and movement. Follow along with Debbie as she takes you on a thread painting journey on the Tiara. Starting with an image, you will learn creative thread painting techniques to create a simple, yet elegant, piece. Using the couching foot and decorative yarn/cord, explore how the Tiara can be used as an embellishment machine to highlight a design and create texture and dimension. By the end of your journey, you will see the versatility of this machine.
