Truck Admission Process

For trucks with construction materials entry

a. Booth contractors apply for “waiting permit“ via SNIEC wechat platform the invitation code from the official freight forwarder.

b. To print the “waiting permit“ and enter P8(on Shenjiang Road) on valid date/time.c. Exchange pass in P8 and enter P3/P7 under guidance. d. A loading bay pass (with IC card) can be exchanged at Certification Center of SNIEC at

1#entrance square/P7/P3 Parking Lot with showing „booth entry permission“ & motor vehicle driving permit and paying charges and deposit

e. Then trucks can drive into the specified loading bay.

NOTICE

Dear Organizers：For ensuring the successful process of exhibition, establishing the construction criterion of

exhibition stands, prohibiting various hidden troubles, we put forward the following rules

for drawing review and construction:

1. All two-storey, multiple-storey and outdoor stands’ drawings should be inspected by

National Grade A Registered Structural Engineer. we will offer the sample form for

Building Approval for Special Stand Design for the entry into Exhibitor Manual, in order to

be filled in by the exhibitor and constractor.

2. Please offer the copy form with stamped of Exhibitor Nominated Stand Contractor for Raw Space to kept in archives.

3. Price standard:2nd floor sqm + ground floor sqmDrawing inspection fee: RMB50/m2 Re-inspection fee: RMB25/m2

4. Deadline for drawing submiting:The drawings shall be arrived to SNIEC advanced 30 working days before move-in time.

If the drawings is issued after deadline, 30% of the amount as overdue penalty will be

charged; if the drawings issued during the move-in time, 50% of the amount as overdue

penalty will be charged.

For design drawings for two-storey, multiple-storey and outdoor stands, if neither

reviewed by Grade A registered structural engineer nor re-inspected by HAH Consulting

& Exhibition Co., Ltd. Shanghai, the organizer, SNIEC and HAH Consulting & Exhibition

Co., Ltd. Shanghai are authorized to prevent the construction by such exhibitor in the

scope of SNIEC.

Instructions for hanging point usage and advertisement suspension

The applicants shall meet the following requirements while using the hanging point and suspending the advertisement:

1. The total weight of the suspended independent structure shall be lighter than 1000KG.

2. The load-bearing of each hanging point shall be lighter than 200KG.

3. The top edge of the suspended independent structure shall be less than 9 m.

4. The hanging point shall not be used for lifting non-suspending structure or equipment or any movable objects.

5. The suspended independent structure shall be made up of firm and reliable metal structure. Pure wood structure is forbidden.

6. The hanging point shall not be used for fastening or connecting any structure connected with the ground.

7. The application will not be accepted if the suspended independent structure influences the normal operation of the exhibition hall’s facility and equipment.

8. The application will not be accepted if the suspended independent structure may affect the safety of the exhibition hall’s facility and equipment.

9. For the exhibition booth next to the wall of the exhibition hall, the adjoined part cannot install the hanging point and the non-adjoined part shall be decided by field observation.

10. The applicant shall self-prepare the flagpole and assemble with the suspended advertisement flag together and then provide to the exhibition hall worker to hang it with sling.

11. The installation contractor shall keep all point location move up and down synchronously while lifting the suspended structure with the premise of ensuring the balance.

12. The advertisement and the hanging point shall not be suspended above the public area unless the organizer agrees.

13. The suspended structure shall only be installed on the hanging points of the oblique beam for Hall E7, N1-5 and in order to prevent slipping, the suspended structure must be fastened with two hanging points formed V-type and it will be calculated as one point if the top gap is less than one mile. While for Hall W1-W5, E1-E6, it will be calculated as two points.

14. The applicant shall rent the chain hoist from the exhibition hall and pay the deposit if he needs to connect the hanging points. The exhibition hall worker will send the chain hoist to the booth and the applicant shall return back to the storage and get the deposit back after approval of the exhibition hall.

15. The application shall be provided ten working days before the moving in date. It will not be guaranteed that all the applications can be fully implemented upon field application. 16. If the suspended structure includes electric equipments, such as lights, audio, LED screen, etc. the metal structure and the casing must has reliable grounding device. 17. Introduction for suspending large LED screen: a. Large LED Screen hanging point application shall be provided ten working days before the moving in date.b. The application shall include booth floor plan, effect drawing, exact size and total weight of the screen and frame, the hanging point location and load bearing, etc.c. The floor type screen shall not be fastened with the hanging point.d. It will not be suspended without prior application and approval.

18. The applicant shall strictly abide by the operating and managing rules about structure safety and safety utilization of electric power, etc and bear all responsibilities.

19. About the truss（New）a. The aluminum alloy truss size should not less than 200mm*200mm and not greater than 400mm*400.b. The irony truss size should not less than 300mm*300mm and not greater than 400mm*400mm.

20. About the timber with steel structure（New）a. The timber with steel structure must be connected by metal framework inside and must be top open to see the internal structure clearly. Timber structure, no connected structure or unstable connected locally metal strengthened structure is not accepted.

b. Structure of monolithic metal framework covered by board must be suspended by top connected integral truss.

21. The structure must be connected by sufficient mechanical strength wirerope or special sling. Iron wire or rope is not allowed.（New）22. If anyone or company violate any rules of this regulation, the company or the person shall bear responsibility for all the consequences arising therefrom and bear the corresponding legal liability and economic lose .（New）

RULES & REGULATIONS FOR STANDARD BOOTH DECORATION： Any adjustment on the standard structure must be handled by the official stand-fitting contractor.

The application of additional items or stand adjustment should be submitted to the official

contractor before 10 May.2019. Exhibitor may need to pay for the change. All electricity

equipments(such as power socket, lighting box or spotlight)of package stand must be settled by

the official contractor, the installation by exhibitor or other unofficial workers is forbidden.

If exhibitor has purpose to change their package booth to special design booth, the application

should be submitted to the organizer for approval before 30 Apr.2019.

Exhibitors may not place any display material or exhibit，nor extend their stand structures and

fittings, beyond their contracted boundary. Failure of which, the exhibitor would be liable for the

space cost of protruding area equivalent to the amount stated in the space contract.

In order to prevent panels from damage, exhibitors are not allowed to use any adhesive（including

foam-type double-sided tape）medium except Velcro or double-sided tape. Any self-adhesive

materials such as stickers must be mounted on a base and then fixed onto the panels by Velcro or

double-sided tape. Further, it is the exhibitors’ responsibility to remove all the Velcro or double-

sided tape before they leave at the end of the exhibition. Failure to comply with any of the above-

mentioned condition will result in a penalty cost being claimed upon the exhibitors.

Screwing, drilling or nailing on any of the aluminum frames and panel of standard shell scheme

booth are not allowed. Otherwise, the exhibitions or their appointed contractors shall be liable for

the total loss resulting in and charge for the damage.

Any decorative sign is not allowed to appear on the fascia board.

For furniture rental, please contact the corresponding official stand-fitting contractor.

Exhibitors can contact the official contractor for poster production service. If you bring your own

posters, you need to pay a deposit to the official contractor, RMB 50/sqm. During the demolition,

the exhibitor shall clean up the posters in the booth and transport them out of the exhibition hall

before the deposit is returned.

If the exhibitor's equipment has its own power supply, the power supply must be turned off before

the exhibition hall closed every day, and the power supply must be filed with the offical contractor

RULES & REGULATIONS FOR RAW SPACE CONSTRUCTION: If work is above 2 meters, ladders are not allowed, and a suitable metal scaffold or working

platform is necessary. The scaffold/platform should be properly fitted with a guard rail, mid rail, toe

board, outriggers and wheel locks. High stability is required, with a maximum height to least base

dimension ratio of 3.5.Workers must wear safety belt/harness and clip on to a secure anchorage

point. Scaffold/Platforms may not be move while in use or occupied.

The height limit: 6m for single storey booths and 8.5m for multi-storey booths should be

strictly observed.

According to the Fire Regulations of the venue, the use of cotton fabric and various elastic fabrics

for booth construction and decoration is prohibited. Booth construction materials must consist

entirely of non-combustibles with a burning diffusion rate not lower than Class B1 as required by

both the national and local fire-control regulations of Shanghai.

Materials such as elastic fabric, straws and lumber etc., are prohibited.

No naked lights and lamps or inflammable, explosive and radioactive articles should be used in

the exhibition halls.

All exhibits, materials and fittings used or displayed in the booth must be properly fire-proofed and

comply with all applicable fire and safety regulations of the venue.

Smoking is prohibited within the exhibition area, the exhibitor shall be held responsible for any

damage or loss caused by his/her smoking in the exhibition area.

No nailing, drilling or fixture of any kind is allowed to be affixed to the floor, wall, ceiling or any

structures of the exhibition hall. Exhibitors are liable to any damage made to the exhibition venue.

All workers and stand-fitters entering the exhibition hall must wear safety helmets.

It is the responsibility of appointed contractor for day-to-day removal of all rubbish, packing of

waste materials from the exhibition venue. Failure to do so will be liable for service fees incurred

in rubbish removal.

All lighting facilities of each stand must be switched off when the show closed every day.

The application of Hanging Point and advertising banner, please contact the official contractor

directly.

The SNIEC cleaning staff can be found at the Gate No.1 of each exhibition hall. In case of improper waste-handling, damage of the in-house facilities and the rented furniture as well as unsettled bills, indemnities thus incurred will be deducted from the deposit. The refund of deposit is possible on site during the stipulated booth-dismantling period. For refund at later time please bring the Confirmation from SNIEC cleaning staff to Beijing PBR Co. Ltd. NOTICE FOR RAW SPACE INSURANCE

In order to protect the safety of staff working on-site and insure against any risk of liability to any exhibitor and its respective appointed contractor arising from the use or construction of each raw space during the move-in days, each raw space exhibitor is required to purchase a liability insurance plan, before processing its application such as getting booth design approval, ordering electricity and settling hall management fees, etc prior to moving-in.

1. All raw space contractors, exhibitors should be named as the insured under such liability insurance plan.

2. The liability insurance plan of each raw space exhibitor should cover the following:2.1 All the buildings in the exhibition venue, all kinds of fixed equipment, the ground and the

foundation in the exhibition area. Cumulative compensation shall not exceed RMB500,000;

2.2 All compensation, medical expenses and any other related fees caused by personal injury suffered by any insured staff, any workers; Cumulative compensation shall not exceed RMB1,500,000; and the cumulative compensation per person shall not exceed RMB400,000;

2.3 All compensation, medical expenses and any other related fees caused by personal injury suffered by any third party; Cumulative compensation shall not exceed RMB 2,000,000 and the cumulative compensation per person shall not exceed RMB400,000;

2.4 The insurance premium for such liability insurance plan shall be no less than USD 100.

APPROVAL FOR BOOTH DESIGN DRAWINGS： Exhibitors and their appointed contractors must jointly sign Form 16-“Booth Constructor’s

Guarantee” , and submit it together with the copy of contractor’s Business License and finalized booth design drawings (including layout plan, front and side elevation with clear dimensions, 3D

view, electrical installation plan and use of materials) before the deadline.

Booth design drawings must be submitted to the Official stand-fitting Contractor for approval

before May 10, 2019. Otherwise the application procedure of stand building will not be accepted.

The Organizer and Official stand-fitting contractor reserve the rights to request Exhibitor to alter

their booth design if, in the opinion of the Organizer or Official stand-fitting contractor, their booth

construction or structure causes obstruction to other exhibitors’ booths. The Organizer’s decision

is final.

On some rare occasions, authorities such as fire department or the venue operator may request

alternations to the booth design after on-site inspection. Such requests are usually for the sake of

public safety and must be complied with.

PBR is only responsible for checking booth dimensions, which shall match the width and length as

stated in the exhibition contract, and the height limitation is also observed. PBR is not responsible

for approval of structure/material safety of the design.

2）Construction height on or above 4.5 meter

All booth with height of or above 4.5m should be inspected by HAH or approved by Grade A National Registered Structural Engineer.

2 DOUBLE STOREY BOOTH: The height limitation for double storey raw space stand construction is 8.5 meters.

Only exhibitors with contracted exhibit space of 60 sq.m. or above and the width not less than 6m

will be allowed to build two storey stand.

The upper storey of the booth must be used only for meeting purpose and the area of upper

storey shall not exceed two-third(2/3) of the base storey. No part of the entire structure shall be

built, hanged out or extended beyond the boundaries of the contracted exhibit space.

Two-storied booth must be of steel structure. Materials to be used should conform to relative

national stipulations for flooring, boarding and ceiling.

Usage of upper storey should be specified in the application documents. Loading-bearing capacity

must not be less than 5000 Newton/sq.m

All stairways should be design and constructed according to the DIN18065 standard with loading-

bearing capacity not less than 5000 Newton/sq.m.

The drawings & design plans of two-storied stand MUST first be submitted to PBR for dimension

checking. The checked plan should then be submitted to HAH Consulting & Exhibition Co., Ltd. Shanghai for structural/material examination and verification, which the related costs should be

borne by the exhibitors/ contractors.

Design of all double-storey constructions must be examined and verified by the venue (SNIEC)

and the venue’s specified structural engineering firm—HAH . Examination fee charged by HAH is

RMB￥50.00 per sq.m, and the inspected area is calculated based on total area of the 2nd floor

PLUS ground floor space. Four(4) sets of each of the following documents must be submitted to

HAH before May 10, 2019

CONDITIONS

The condition for rental of furniture and electrical installation are:

1. All items ordered are on rental basis and exhibitors will therefore have to make good of any damages or losses.

2. For water supply and air compressor, exhibitors are required to bring along their adaptor for connection to their equipment.

3. Exhibitors with very sensitive equipment are advised to bring their own stabilizer to cater for voltage fluctuation.

4. Exhibitors have to bring their own special regulating units if they require very specific water temperature or water pressure.

5. Any complaint regarding rental furniture/installation must be lodged the day before the exhibition commences. Otherwise all items are deemed that be received in good order.

6. Exhibitors are not permitted to fix their own spotlight or fluorescent light. Special lighting supplies by exhibitors can be handed over to Milton for installation at a nominal price.

7. Exhibitors are required to mark on the location plan position of their electrical requirements. We will install at our discretion if we do not receive any instruction before move in. Requests for re-positioning will be subject to relocation charge.

FORM 16：Booth Constructor’s GuaranteeDeadline : May 10, 2019

1. The blueprint of booth construction together with this form signed properly must be submitted to

the Official Contractor for approval before May 10, 2019. (blue print must be submitted by e-

mail.)

2. All constructions should be subject to the related fire and safety regulations of the government and

SNIEC. All materials used should be fire-resistant. The backboard projecting higher than your

neighbor booths must be covered with single-colored PVC cloth (without any images or characters

shown). A fine would be deducted from the deposit for violating such rules.

3. The height limit: 6m for single storey booths and 8.5m for multi-storey booths should be strictly

observed. For Multi-story booth construction, please contact the Show Management for approval.

4. Booth constructors should obey the organizers to correct their rule-violating construction timely.

5. Booth constructors themselves should go to SNIEC for the detailed technical measurement of the exhibition hall. Information in this manual is only for reference.
