Chapter B-1 Introduction

B-1-1 Introduction about Web Submission Module

Web Submission module is developed to allow applications submitted by applicants/companies though online. It will simplify the authentication process; it is also to minimize print-out documents and also to speed up the whole process.

B-1-2 Manufacturers in the Principal Custom Area key areas of the exemptions

a) Import duty exemption on machinery and equipment excluding spare parts and consumables imported or purchased from a Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse, Bonded Warehouse or Free Zone under item 115 Customs Duties (Exemption) Order 2013

b) Sales tax exemption on machinery, equipment, spare parts and consumables

imported or purchased from a Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse, Bonded Warehouse or Free Zone under item 106 Sales Tax (Exemption) Order 2013

c) Sales tax exemption on machinery, equipment, spare parts and consumables

purchased from a manufacturer (licensed under the Sales Tax Act 1972) under item 106 Sales Tax (Exemption) Order 2013

Chapter B-2 Common Functions and Definitions

Some of the common fields and icon are available in the system screens as follows:

Field Description

Input Field • This Field requires the user to key in the necessary information based on its label.

• Examples of usage :

• Input Field with Asterisk (*) is mandatory field.

Check box • This field requires user either to enabling it or disabling it. The select and deselect actions can be done by clicking on the square box. It is allow user to make multiple selection.

• Example of usage :

Drop down List • This field requires the user to select an option from the displayed list. These options will be displayed in the list by clicking the arrow down button.

• Example of usage:

Calendar • This Icon is use to select date. If user clicks at this button, calendar will pop up on screen. User can select the necessary date from the calendar.

Chapter B-3 COMPANY PARTICULARS B-3-1 Introduction

This chapter will explain on how to key in the COMPANY PARTICULARS information. B-3-2 Action To Take

Below is the step-by-step instruction:

Step Action

1. Click on Company Particulars to go to the page.

Result: Company Particulars page will be displayed.

2. Fill up all the field needed

3. Click on button to save the information.

Result: message will be displayed.

Chapter B-4 FACTORY LOCATION

B-4-1 Introduction

This chapter will explain on how to key in the FACTORY LOCATION information. B-4-2 Action To Take


Step Action

1. Click on FACTORY LOCATION to go to the page. Result: FACTORY LOCATION page will be displayed.

2. Click on button to add factory location. Result: Field box will be displayed for user to enter information.

3. Fill in all relevant information for the factory location in the field boxes.

4. Click on button to add subsequence factory location. Result: Field box will be displayed for user to enter information.

5. If users want to delete the factory location, tick on the check box and click on

button to delete information.

Result: The following pop-up will be displayed.

6. Click on button to continue delete information or click on button to cancel option.

Chapter B-5 PROJECT COST

B-5-1 Introduction

This chapter will explain on how to key in the PROJECT COST information

B-5-2 Action To Take


Step Action

1. Click on PROJECT COST to go to the page. Result: PROJECT COST page will be displayed.

2. Fill up all the field needed and tick the related checkbox Click on button to save the information.

Result: message will be displayed. Note : All Project cost value must be total of detail cost in RM.

Chapter B-6 FINISHED PRODUCTS

B-6-1 Introduction

This chapter will explain on how to key in the FINISHED PRODUCTS information. B-6-2 Action To Take


Step Action

1. Click on FINISHED PRODUCTS to go to the page. Result: FINISHED PRODUCTS page will be displayed.

2. Select the Factory Location Result: The add and delete button will enable.

3. Click on add button to add finished product information

Click on add button to add more subsequence finished product for that factory

location.

4. If users want to delete the finished product, tick on the check box and click on

button to delete information.

Result: The following pop-up will be displayed.

1. Click on Checklist to go to the page. Result: Checklist page will be displayed.

Chapter B-8 ATTACH DOCUMENTS

B-8-1 Introduction

This chapter will explain on how to attach document B-8-2 Action To Take


Step Action

1. Click on attach documents to go to the page. Result: attach documents page will be displayed.

2. Click on the browse button to locate the file need to attach Result:

Locate and choose the file, then click open button

Result: Click on the Attach File button to proceed

Result: The message appears mention the file successfully attached. Other function To remove the attachment file, select the file and click remove button. To view the attachment file, select the file and click download. Note: User can attach any type of attachment unlimited, each file must not exceed size 10mb.

Chapter B-9 Preview Form

B-9-1 Introduction

This chapter will explain on how to preview form



Click on ‘Preview Application’ button

Result: It will show the data user have entered in pdf format and create a file name MIDAFORMSPM1.pdf in the attach document list.

Other function To remove the attachment file, select the file and click remove button. To view the attachment file, select the file and click download.
