With an early career as an actor, tWinkle quickly discovered that her heart lay in designing beautiful homes

Her success as an interior designer is shown by

winning the Elle Decor International Design Award

(EDIDA) for best wall finishes and coverings and

the Society Interiors Award.

In 1998 Twinkle began her interior design career

as a site supervisor for a renowned Mumbai

architect. Two years later she started her own

interior design business and opened a home

decor store, the White Window. With a portfolio

that includes projects for Bollywood stars and top

industrialists, Twinkle is very much sought after

and, with her signature style, has created homes

both in India and London.

Twinkle’s clever use of colour, texture and

handcrafted carved motifs are seamlessly

blended into ultra-modern apartments to

create an eclectic unique mix. Her philosophy

is reflected in the three style palettes she has

created exclusively for Panchshil’s premium

projects.

inspiration comes from both her indian heritage and styles gathered from around the World

Twinkle is constantly seeking out treasures on her

travels and gathering inspiration from her Indian

heritage. Personal favourites include Gaudi in the

West, for the wonderful architecture, the organic,

tactile shapes; and old Mughal art and motifs

in the East, for the excellent craftsmanship and

exquisite beauty.

With an eclectic range of interests and a

workshop that is a riot of colours and textures,

Twinkle combines ideas from myriad sources.

The sound of the Arabian Sea, whizzing around

the city on her scooter and floating in the sea

in Goa, provide the backdrop to her creative

thoughts. By taking the everyday and ordinary

and weaving it with the extraordinary, she designs

special, beautiful spaces.

Their homes are full of the styles, colours and textures that Twinkle

loves. Greatly inspired by the ocean and gardens, Twinkle strives to

create homes that ‘bring the outside in’, adding classic vintage pieces

that add depth and style, all with a contemporary, natural feel.

Twinkle grew up with an appreciation of nature,

craftsmanship and aesthetics and her strongly

held values have become intuitive and perceptive

tools during the design process.

Acutely aware of the importance of family in her

own life and a deep desire to see it as part of the

future, Twinkle is passionate about homes being

organic places that can grow and give space for

families to create dreams.
