THANK YOU Bible Read-a-Thon Listeners, We want to thank you for your willingness to come and listen to the GEMS and RA’s read the Bible for 1 hour at the Read-a-Thon. most urgent need.

HARVEST CONFERENCE Tonight, November 22 at 6:30 pm

in the Worship Center Including a regular business meeting,

with a vote on 2016 budget, mission trip testimonies and worship music.

There will also be a benevolence love offering, which will be administered

by the deacons. Childcare available for babies up to

2 year olds. Please sign up in foyer or at preschool desk.

NEW DEACON CANDIDATES VOTE We will be voting today after

worship on candidates Jimmy Hocutt, Steve Walker and

Teddy O’Neal to serve as deacons.

LIVE NATIVITY – DECEMBER 11-13 This year, the Music Ministry at Green Pines will sponsor a Live Nativity from December 11-13, from 6:30-8:30pm nightly. We will have a 15 minute drama followed by live music and refreshments. The drama will repeat every half hour. There will be animals on site for the kids to feed. We will need actors, musicians, welcome team, sound and light team, traffic control, animal assistants, food tent team and several other needs where you can participate in this ministry. We will also need folks to donate apple cider, cookies and brownies. Please check your schedules! Let’s make this a great gift to our community. It is a tremendous way to tell the story of Jesus! WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!!!

POINSETTIAS FOR CHRISTMAS In honor of someone special in your life or in memory of a loved one for $12.00 each. Choice of colors: red or white. Deadline to place your order is Sunday, December 6. They will be displayed on Sundays, Dec. 13 & 20. Please place your money in an envelope with your name on it, and the name of the person in which it is in honor or memory of, and place the envelope in the offering plate.

be held Tuesday, November 24. The preschool, children’s and youth

activities, as well as the prayer meeting and Bible study, will run at the normal schedule on

Tuesday.

DEACON RETREAT To all past, present and potential future deacons: You are invited to attend this year’s Deacon Retreat at Camp Caraway, February 12-13, 2016. Cost is $93 per person based on double occupancy rooms, so $186 per couple. We need to know by Monday, November 23, 2015 to secure rooms. The general schedule would be to arrive Friday afternoon & check in before eating dinner. Then there would be Friday night session. Breakfast & lunch on Saturday with sessions after each, heading home mid-afternoon on Saturday. Camp Caraway is located outside Asheboro.
