IN THE DIOCESE OF AUSTIN
THE PEOPLE OF HOLY ROSARY CATHOLIC CHURCH PRO-CLAIM THAT OUR MISSION IS TO BECOME A WELCOMING FAM-ILY. AS WE ARE UNITED WITH GOD, SO WE BECOME ONE WITH EACH OTHER. OUR ANCESTORS PASSED ON THE CATH-OLIC FAITH AND MORALS TO THEIR FAMILIES AND NOW IT IS OUR TURN.
WE RESPOND TO ONE ANOTHER IN THE SPIRIT OF NUR-TURING, HEALING AND CARING.
WE ARE A SMALL BUT GIVING COMMUNITY, DEDICATED TO THE SPIRITUAL GROWTH OF THE FAMILY, THE PARISH AND THE COMMUNITY.
WE FIND OUR STRENGTH, WISDOM AND DIRECTION THROUGH CHRIST. WE ARE STRONGLY COMMITTED TO THE CATHOLIC EDUCATION OF ANYONE WHO SEEKS GODS TRUTH.
WE ENVISION THIS PARISH COMMUNITY AS A BRIGHT LIGHT FOR THE FUTURE TO CARRY ON THE MISSION OF CHRIST. NOT ONLY FOR THE RESIDENTS OF THIS COMMU-NITY, BUT ALSO FOR THE MANY PEOPLE WHO VISIT.

Guest priest Fr. Joy Thachil will celebrate the Masses on the week-end of June 8th-9th. He will do a mission appeal for Pal-lottine Fathers and Brothers of Zambia. Please welcome Fr. Joy to our parish and thank him for his ministry. Second Collection Fr. Joy Thachil is making a mission appeal for this com-munity. There is a second collection at all the masses on this weekend for Pallottine Fathers and Brothers of Zambia. Thank you for your generosity. A Little Bit about the Pallottine Missions Pallottines (The Society of the Catholic Apostolate) is a religious community of over 2300 members spread over several countries in the five continents. It was founded in Rome in 1835 by St. Vincent Pallotti. He is consid-ered the pioneer in championing the role of the Laity in the mission of the Church. He is recognized as having profoundly influenced teaching of Vat. II on Laity. The motto of the Society is: “ make everyone a Catholic, every Catholic a good Catholic, and every good Catholic an Apostle”. He always reminded people that they are called to be apostles no matter where they are and what they do. In India and Zambia, Africa, besides carrying out his vision by inspiring laity to take active role in the church, we run several mission stations aimed at cater-ing the needs of the poor and the underprivileged help-ing them with the basic necessities of life. We run or-phanages for poor boys and girls, run educational insti-tutions, dispensaries and other charitable works along with proclaiming the gospel and faith formation. We run mission parishes. We undertake many social work pro-grams directly aimed at helping the poor and needy and empowering women. In Zambia we take care of children orphaned by the AIDS disease and provided medication and support for the AIDS patients. In the traditional Catholic areas we concentrate on re-evangelization and the training of the laity to become active apostles. And we have several seminarians being trained for priest-hood and brotherhood. We are happy to share the fact that our mission is growing and expanding in India as well as in Zambia. We look forward to your help and support to continue our work. May Baby Shower for Project Gabriel
